Site stuff (posting, Pics, Web links)

Adding personal Pics from your tube- We allow every member to attach their pictures from their hard drive. While you are writing a post hit the "Browse" button hat is located under the smililies. This will show all of you pictures. Simply double click the Pic and hit the "add attachment" button. You can add more than 1. Keep adding.

Add Pics from other sites- Go to the other website. Find the Pic. Right mouse click on the Pic. Hit the properties. Then Copy the address (URL). Then go back to the post and click the IMG button and paste the url. You can add as many as you would like. (right now it is limited to 8 or so but we will change it so we can add more than enough.

Add a link to a website- Click the "http://" button while you are posting. Paste a link to your site. Click the button and add you title.

It goes without saying but these are awesome features that other sites do not provide. My hat off guys....great stuff. :lol:

1) Spell Checker

2) At the end of every post there are similar threads to check out.

3) When uploading pics, you can now choose to watermark them with the Golfwrx.com logo.

4) Member control Panel with quick links

5) Blue New PM and Red unread PM links at top of board

6) Spoiler Tag feature to hide information.

7) While reading PMs, you can go forward and backward to next message

8) Quick PM Reply (saves a click)

9) Reputation System (being debuged)

10) Referral System (being debugged)

11) drop down menus at the top of banner

12) Ability to upload pics directly to post

13) Gallery feature to upload more pictures.

With Interent Explorer and most other browsers, you will see File/Edit/View at the top of the window. Go To>>>View>>>Text Size>>>And then Increase/Decrease as needed.

With Interent Explorer and most other browsers, you will see File/Edit/View at the top of the window. Go To>>>View>>>Text Size>>>And then Increase/Decrease as needed.

Doesn't seem to have an effect on the forums. Have set it on medium, larger, and largest... refreshed... tried about everything and still have the small print. Many of the forums have a "text size" setting within the forum. Please don't worry, the small text will certainly not curtail my enjoyment of your discussion board. Thanks for being there!!!!

You're right, didn't work in Internet Explorer but did with Firefox....Try Firefox, you will like it.... :vava: We will check into the IE issue.

OK...everytime I try to upload pics as described I get an error message and it won't take my pics... for reference I using a Mac with safari browser(if that makes a dif)... any suggestions... as I would rather not like to continue to use Photobucket just to add a pic now and again.... Please help!! thanks Josh

Majorit or the time its a size of the pictures issue. Send me a picture you can't upload to [email protected] and let me see what's up.

Guys.....all the features on the site are awesome....especially the spell check! It seems like it would be fairly obvious to include it....but this is the only golf site I have frequented with the spell check.

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Accessbility. Put a check mark in the box for "Ignore specified fonts on Web pages"

Then go to View>Text Size>Larger and it should work...

Hi...how do I get rid of the quick links section to the left of the screen? It pushes all the thread entries too far to the right of the screen and I have to use the slider bar to see the entire thread if someone has put pictures in. As I read the screen from left to right, this is an unnatural place to put it so I would prefer to hide it if possible. At worst, could you put it on the right hand side of the screen pls? Most peoples eyes naturally look to the left of the screen (at least in the western world) and I feel as though I am reading "off the screen" as it were. Thanks...
