5 gram Differeence

Howdy All,

Im currrently got the 909 D2 with a 6WO6 Rombax Shaft and the 909 D3 Fairway in play in my bag, i hit both of them very well, These were temporary clubs while i wait for titleist to get my 909 F3 and 909 D2 with the Factory Rombax 7Z08's in them what id like to know is can any of you tell the weight difference of 5Grams or not because thats the difference between the 6W06 & 7Z08, as im considering sticking with what i have in my bag and leaving the other 2 alone.

Really?  As a +2 you should be able to tell.....  I doubt 5gr will make a noticeable diff, UNLESS the kick is a diff place.  Like UST recommend diff weights of the V2 depending on your swingspeed even within the same flex.  Im not a rombax fan or expert, so I guess I cant definitely answer your post....  :)

Thats the thing, i actually cant tell with my Old V2's i could tell ........... anyway im going to collect them 2mrw for the weekend

I guess you can always hit a few balls to check it out.  If you dont think it's a big diff, then sell it. :)  Well that or keep it for a backup!  Then again, Im a club hoarder so you cant always go by my recommendation...  lol  :)

Can't test tooo much!  Dude, I have identical driver heads, so that I can compare shafts on the course.  For a couple of diff drivers.  I have 3 sets of J33B, since I thought I may want to try the KB Tours without removing my PX Satins!  lol

 

 I get freaky with shafts and wedges.  I love trying diff wedges and Im always reshafting things.  I put a Fubuki in a 3wd and havent even hit it yet, since I stripe my Whiteboard shafted one.  Crap , now that I type some of this out, I sound retarded....

Unless you're changing flex my data has 3 grams difference. Could be wrong. Great shafts the Z series.

swingweight more than It is a 3 gram difference as said above, I personally can't feel much difference with 3-5 grams- a heavier/lighter grip would change the swingweight more than that. What you will notice for certain is the Z series launches lower, kicks less, and just feels tighter than the W series.

6W06 will play quite different to the 7Z08. The 7Z08 will launch considerably lower and spin far less.
