Adams Speedline Prototype 3446-F & Speedline Driver Pics

I got a chance to check out some of the new stuff from Adams. The Speedline driver pics have been floating around, but this is one of the ones out on Tour for 2009. The fairway wood is one of atleast three version of the Speedline FW they will have out. The one pictured is the smooth soled 3446-F Prototype. The one pictured is 16 degrees but bent open a bit. The other ones they will have is the Speedline Classic which looks to me alot like the 4060's of years past, and then there is a Hybrid-FW which is a much smaller head. The only one I saw was a 17 degree. Enjoy!

I don't know at this time what will be retail and what will remain tour only. There will some version of the Speedline FW at retail, just don't know which one. As for the driver its only about half a degree open, but the rounded toe makes it look more open than it is.

Thanks for the pics....This line from Adams looks great and its no.1 on my "must hit" list once they come out and winter goes away in a few months.

Adams has done an unbelievable job over the past few years of putting out the best equipment on the market. Of all the major golf companies, I feel they do the best job of integrating technology into their equipment, while keeping a more traditional look and feel. Looks like their new equipment wil be no exception.

 

Everyone who has shied away from Adams, because they have the reputation of being "your father's clubs" or a "B" company should reconsider.

Those both look sick. I would love to swing those bad boys. I love the fact that Adams is making open face drivers that can be bought off the shelf. They really make some super solid gear.

The retail version looks similar to the a4, Squarish profile fairly deep. Driver looks good but is 5 yards shorter than the a4 for me. Great ball speed and spins 3-500 Rpms more than a4.

Adams Golf has made great strides in equipment, their recent offerings are all good, that driver looks very nice from the pics, thanks

I still play a 3070 16* and retail RPM tour fw's. No need to switch since they are the best around. But that fw looks like a bit of a return to their 3070 & RPM roots. I look forward to trying it.

The one you don't have... :drinks: . Jk, it's the DF Proto. There are only 3 versions. The Speedline Modern, which is Squarish. Speedline Tour DF and just the Speedline Classic.

He hasn't changed his 20 degree, it's still the A3 Tour Proto. Speedline FW-Hybrid 17* just the standard head and Speedline 14* FW Wood.

Hey whatshannenin is the DF Proto the 3458-D? How many models of the Fw-hybrid and fairway wood is there! I have a photo of Rory Sabbatini with a fairway wood but it looks nothing like the speedline classic fairway wood I have seen!? There must be numerous models. The fairway wood did not have a weight or weight port. It had a couple spaces toward the back of the sole almost looking like a taylor made sole?

Adams is starting to put out some gear I REALLY like! With them being 20 mins up the road and a locally owned (even though they are publicly owned and traded) Texas company I am seriously thinking about picking up some new gear for 2009 to test out..Already have a old peanut and am about to get 2 new PNT2's.

Woods are looking way to good to not go for. Also am liking the new satin irons.

I could do without the yellow though...not so much....
