How many course requests before uPro adds Pro Mode?

Does anyone know this? Considering uPro as a possible purchase, but one of the better courses near me is not available in Pro Mode. There are currently 7 requests for this course. I'd like to know how many requests get a course on the radar for update.

If you put that course as your home course they will map it in 4 days.

So if your real home course is already mapped than I wouldnt put it as your home course. Just put the course you want mapped as your home course and they do it in the 4 days. I also think they map them faster if someone puts a comment in the request. not sure on that though.

I sent a form request to uPro support this morning, and surprisely they called me this afternoon to answer my questions.

The rep stated that mapping requests are prioritized according to Home Course requests (1st), Frequency of Request from Registered Users (2nd) and Unregistered Users (3rd).

You can request a course be remapped. Specifically, I'd be interested in having some courses that are recently added (winter time) to be updated in the full season when you're able to distinguish fairway from rough, etc. Right now, just about everything is brown in Virginia, so mapping a home course now isn't very compelling (graphically).

I did request them to remap my home course because the images they were using were old and my course added some new traps and tee's. they did this in 4 days! I was very impressed. The only thing I wish they would add is mapping of the driving range. I would even take just the image so I could measure it with the MEAS feature. The range at my home course is not marked very well and this would be a nice feature.

I agree on mapping - map range for us or better yet - give option to map yourself - I just want distances to the flags as you do.

Agree about the mapping of ranges. I've contacted them about this a while ago. Didn't really get a satisfactory answer. I've since sold my uPro, even though I think it's the best unit on the market. I'm going to wait to see how the golf GPS market shapes up and what new technology is around the corner before making another purchase.

Realized that as the range is adjacent to 18th hole - Might be able to use measure in pro mode to determine distances to flags(greens) as they are visible, will give it a try this week.
