Golf Guru Color vs Grey scale?

I have decided to purchase a Golf Guru!

I was looking for a comparison and I do not see that much of a difference.

I know the amount of courses held is greater with the color unit but I play about only 9-10 different courses in a good year.

The visual is the same just in color?

Any other features worth the $100 + cost difference.

What do you use for attaching to your golf bag ? your cart?

Any other suggestions for a Rookie buyer?

Guru still has some refurbished grayscale units for $199. They carry the same warranty as a new one. I could not justify the difference between the color and $199.

FYI - Arkon Resources carries several universal PDA cradles and mounts (I believe that these are the same ones that Guru carries). I am picking a dash mount that I can either attach to the scorecard area of my Sun Mountain speed cart or attach it to the umbrella mount.

I have used the gray scale for the entire year. I have had no issues with it in terms of visibility, etc. Always visible.

I have not seen or tried the color version.

As to how do I carry it? I often carry it in my hands as I am walking the course. And put it into my pants pocket prior to swinging. I really do not notice when I play. It is very practical if I leave the push cart or golf cart behind going to tees or greens. It is the same size and weight as a pda or cell phone.

However, with gloves on and other things in my pockets, I put it on my cart. I have a clicgear, so it can go into the inner drawer on the handle. I often put a large rubber band (like those that are for kitchen trash cans) around the drawer and put it under the rubber band. I can press the buttons and read the screen as I and the cart come to a stop.
