Looking for help from the LD's

Hey guys first off, thanks in advance for any advice you might give.

I have a problem that i have not been able to solve regarding spin rate numbers....(ya knew that was coming)

my ss is around 115 and im happy with that, launch is high(13-17*) but its the only way a 5'6" kid can get it out there..

I have gone through 5 fittings and about 20 shafts and still cant find a shaft to take

spin rate numbers from ~3600-4200 down to optimal range. any thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated!!

It may not be just the shaft. The head has a part to do with spin numbers. Make sure you're hitting the correct loft. With a LA like that, I would check everything, from equiptment to swing. House of Forged makes a great shaft(Patriot, Gamer, Ultra, WNS)

What is your angle of attack? This would be the first thing I would ask the people doing the fitting. Also look at your ball postion. Try playing the ball off your front foot to hit up on the ball. Chasing the perfect Head-Shaft combo can get expensive and whats right for me my not be right for you. HOF shafts are about the best for the money.

im not sure if your ss would be in the range yet but have you looked at x stiff flexs?

115 is definitely fast enough for most x-flex shafts.

I would say that your Min spin rpm of 3400 is way too high, for optimal you should have 1900-2100, but the easier to achive sweetspot is 2400rpm and thats what the PGA Pros try to acquire! so if you can make 3400rpm your High rpm target to start, you will be off in the right direction! Also don't forget to look into a Distance+Low Spin Golf Ball. :)

Thanks Guys for the responses, to answer the above questions; I do use x-flexes tipped 1/2 inch solely to try and reduce spin.

I've just switched drivers to Adams 9016d 7.5* w/ fuji 7z08 x, and spin rate numbers have dropped significantly. spin is still high though 2900-3500

If you are getting those spin numbers with that setup you need to work on your swing. I am not trying to be a smart a__ but that combo is super low spin so you have to have an issue with AoA and or ball position. If you have any videos of you swing post em and we may be able to help.
