I will be in Charlotte, Greensboro and than in the Raleigh area for work. I will have a few afternoons free to play and neeed some suggestions. i will be playing Pinehurst #2 on the morning of the 3rd and would like a course for the afternoon in that area. Any suggetstions would be great.

Boy looks like the weather gods threw you a nasty one. I hope some of the week become salvagable for you.

Shoot...low 60's by Wednesday-Thursday and upper 60's to low 70's for the weekend. Sounds pretty good to me, just a slow slow start to the warm weather that this week has in store! I already have tee times for Friday and Saturday. I hope you were not playing today or tomorrow though! High of 37* today in Charlotte.

I think he is scheduled to play No. 2 tomorrow. Hopefully he'll be able to reschedule it, as you say it looks much better by late in the week. More Carolina like anyway.

What about the two courses at Camp LeJeune? Look OK from the website, but would like first hand knowledge. Thanks. (I'll be there in June and plan on just playing there due to military discount rates...I may go to Tobacco Road due to the comments in this thread).

Also if you go to the Anderson Creek Golf Club website and sign up for their email alerts, you will get some very attractive rate offers from them. It is a phenominal course and probably a bit closer to you than Tobacoo Road is (although that is a course not to be missed as you've read)

Sorry, I meant to mention that in my last post. I have not played or spoken to anyone who has played either of those, so I don't have any info.

BTW, Thank you for your service :hi:

Just like a southern gentleman. You are quite welcome and I must thank you too.

Anyone play Rock Creek or Bear Trail (both in Jacksonville)? Any other courses near Jacksonville worth mentioning? Thanks.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
