Eagle Mountain or Sunridge Canyon?

What course to play?

I am traveling to AZ in June and would like an opinion on what course to play? Sunridge Canyon or Eagle Mountain? Already playing Troon, Grayhawk, and We Ko Pa. Can any AZ golfers give advice on which course is the"better" of the two? Thanks!

hands down....SunRidge

hit legend Trail too if you can while up in North Scottsdale.

Also consider We Ko Pa....I would choose We Ko Pa over SunRidge

have fun..and hurry up..its getting HOT already....over 100 the last three days.

I've been on 2 Scottsdale area golf trips. Played SunRidge on the first one and Eagle Mtn last year. I'd go with SunRidge for sure.

Eagle Mountain has some really nice holes, but i would have to agree with everyone else and give Sunridge Canyon the nod as well.

If you have to play Eagle Mountain, you wont be disappointed. Have fun.

I would skip both and play The Boulders. Two great tracks just north of Scottsdale.

Just an FYI- I was hoping to play Boulders in a couple of weeks while in town for my monthly Scottsdale golf fix. Be aware that they are doing maintenance and aeration on both courses throughout most of May. Their alternating between front and back nines on the two tracts but be aware that they may be less than ideal for a bit.

So... it looks like it may be Gold Canyon-Dsaur , We-Ko-Pa, Grayhawk and maybe Sunridge.

I've only played Eagle Mountain and it was really nice. But it seems like the other courses are better. So I'll say Sunridge lol.

Sunridge Canyon is the superior design from my point of view. A lot more variety in the holes. Choose the correct tees for your game. It is a very stern test from the tips!!

I would skip both and play The Boulders. Two great tracks just north of Scottsdale.

YES! I was in the area a couple of weeks ago. Boulders South is much better than Eagle Mountain and Sun Ridge in my opinion. We-Ko-Pa is great (both courses). I played Legend Trail and the range and couse condition was a major disappointment. Maybe by the time you arrive it will recover.

I sure am disappointed to be hearing that Legend trails condition has not held up very well.

I played several times last fall and this winter and it was superb.

I'm hoping by mid may I'll be seeing some good price drops or specials to take advantage of.

Grayhawks got a decent deal going so we'll see what everybody else comes up with.

One might think with the economy in the crapper everyone would would be dropping their shorts to get some play through the summer.

That is except for my club who in their infinite wisdom decided to run contrary to everyone else around here and raise the annual membership due. Only by a small amount but still ticked off quite a few regulars and drove away some old timers.
