Anyone still game these?

Wondering if anyone is still playing the TT Tour Concept shafts in their irons and what do you think of them? How do they compare to others, mainly KB Tour or Project X?

I replaced my Miura irons today because of the TC shafts, I loved the thought of owning these wonderful irons - MC102 & CB202 combo but I can't get away with the TC r3 shaft. I can't sure that it is the shaft but I previously played MP 67's with a Rifle 5.0 fitted and played fine with what is in effect a pure blade.

It's probably no coincidence but I've never fancied PX; never tried them so it's a bit daft really and today I took delivery of some TM Tour Preferred with Rifle 5.0 flighted so it could get interesting.

I am playing them in Bridgestone J36 pocket cavities - R3 flex. My driver speed is 90 - 92 and I am a 9 index. I have never liked a set of irons better. I can't tell you what's the shaft vs. what's the head - but they feel great, I can control trajectory well, they are consistent and have tight dispersion for my swing speed, and they are long enough for their lofts. I can't compare with KB's, and I only tried project X 5.5 briefly (in a different head) and didn't like them nearly as well - but they might have been too stout for my swing at that time. I had never really heard of Tour Concept - I bought this set used here and had to look them up. I am pretty fickle with irons and shafts, and, like I said, this is the most satisfying set I ever played - and I have played a lot of different irons. I guess the best feedback I can give you is the thought of swapping the shafts out is not anywhere in my mind.

I have them in my i10's right now. My brother had them in his s58's and now has them in this TM Burner TP irons. I know a few guys locally that are still playing them as well. great shafts, just a little pricey.

I think they are a little softer in the tip than the KBS Tours I have in another set of irons. I like the weighting in the TC's better right now. The KBS are a great shaft, but they feel head heavy to me.

I have them in my TM 300s. They are really terrific in the long irons as the ball flight is nice and high.

I have a set of PX in my MP32s and there is no real noticeable difference in the short irons as far a ball flight is concerned. The difference is noticeable in the long irons, specifically the 3I and 4I.

FWIW, I'm not a steep swinger, more of a sweeper with very little divots taken. I imagine that if you do swing rather steep the ball flight will be even higher.
