Any seniors using the Adams 9015D?

What shaft gives you the best results?

Have a 9015D in 10.5* loft on the way (head only) and I'm wondering what some of my senior counterparts (those of you with slower swing speeds) are using with best results in terms of distance. I'm a straight hitter but one "whose lack of distance puts pressure on his game", as the golf magazines would say. So what's your recommendation for shafts that'll give me the best distance results with a slower swing speed? Thanks.

I am using a matrix ozik in R. Stock.

 

Also, using Mizuno 600 with G10 pulled BB in S and a Mizuno 600 with Fujikura in R.

Tried the 10.5 with stock Ozic reg shaft and had trouble getting a consistent ball flight. I think it's because my ss is in the 90-95 range and am a low ball hitter anyway. My slower ss and the low spin head/shaft didn't work consistently enough for me.

Great head. Would have liked to try it with a higher launching shaft.

9015D 10.5 with a Graphite Design Pershing 70S. The best so far and a decent combination. It's about the 4th shaft Ive had in this head.

Have it with stock Matrix 60R and love it. SS 89. Age 56. Shafts are a personal thing. The head
is great and not off limits for slower swingers by any means.

Any suggestions on a light, high launch, medium spin, shaft to go with this head? I'm going to build one of these in 10.5* for my dad's 60th b'day, so I'm doing research now to see what shaft options are out there. He prefers senior flex shafts over regular for his driver. Thanks in advance.

Have a 9.5* 9015D head with a F6M2 in it. Will be giving it a workout next week.

 

I'm kinda excited about what this combo is going to do for me. Could be good.

I have heard that the 9015d is not forgiving, do you guys find that to be the case?

I have been using the 9016D for two years. I have a 7* head on a 48" shaft; great distance. I would not change at this time for anything else.

56 years old, swing speed @ 95.
Got two 9015D's. One I started playing last fall when I could (winter!!), with a V2 HL in it. Longest driver I ever have had. Originally Matrix R was way too whippy, couldn't control it, and accuracy has always been a strong suit of mine.
Always been a low launcher, and the HL makes things sweet.
Got another 9015 in earlly winter, to be my experiment club. Got it with the S flex, still kinda sucked. So I got a Harrison Mugen on sale, (Stiff), stuck it in. Only time I've got to hit it is at heated driving range type place. Preliminary results look good, but again it is winter.

No doubt in my mind a senior with modest swingspeed can make this driver work, and work good.

Yes, picked it up new for next to nothing, took the stock R matrix out, sold it and stuck in an Aldila stiff vs proto byYou. I had this same shaft in a Burner and loved it so I have nothing but high expectations once this white stuff is gone that this will be and excellent combo.

IMOP the 9015Ds are the best drivers around...I cannot believe the distance and accuracy I picked up...the big deal is putting together a shaft head combo to achieve the ballflight you desire...I like a hotter flight myself with decent carry...I want that baby to run it's legs off when it hits the ground...my signature tells the variety of shafts I use with heads.

+1 on Harrison Saga-Hard to beat that combo.Great shaft.If you want to experiment before buying shafts. I have one that I tipped stock Matrix shaft 1" and extended 2". Love it now and long.
