Seriously though. I think he meant no TM or Cally staffers. Gets a little complicated when you start breaking it down by each piece of equip. I realize we're all equip. junkies but remember it has more to do with the player and not the name on the club, hat and bag. IMO We're kidding ourselfs if we are believing that any winner this year couldn't have won with custom fit equip. from any of the major OEMs.

I think Clubs do help.......... i think you'll find the players agree aswell.... this is why they stick there Random Headcover to hide there driver sometimes...fairway metal... putter etc..

BTW Annika uses one Nike wedge, a TW lob wedge given to her by the great one himself. Her other wedges are Callaway Forged+...

I really don't think Callaway cares all that much just yet, their core sales is more targeted towards the high handicapper anyways, and TM makes some of the best product out there and has very high profile players on their Tour Staff, and im sure they will get several wins this year.

If any company is to be worry it should be Titleist, I know Cobra has had a couple wins this year, however they got SHUT OUT in the majors this past year. I'm sure they are still pretty sour about that... To be honest I don't think Titleist will get a major this year either..

Sure clubs help and a certain driver or putter adds confidence. I'm just saying that these guys are so talented that they could perform with custom fit stuff from any top quality OEMs tour dept. IMO Some people just give too much credit for these tour victories to the clubs. Let's get real. Comments like "Rossa wins TPC" Ames won TPC and I'm pretty confident he wouldn't have lost it if a Cameron was in the bag. Furyk just switched about everything in his bag and he still plays pretty decent.

What about Triplett in Tucson. He may play Ping irons, but he carries the bag and uses the driver.
