Up front, WRX is fantastic! I am new to the TM bandwagon although not because of being a fanboy. I hit the 09 Burners at a demo days event and loved them. I can't say I deserve them more than anyone else, but since my fiancée and I just bought a house and are getting married Oct 3, the budget belt has been tightened dramatically.



The opportunity to have a new set of Burner irons, customized to my specs, in amazingly sick graphite/slate colors would be sweet to say the least. I am gaming some no-name clubs and already planned to get some Burners when budget allowed. The idea is just great. Many kudos to WRX for providing this prize and for teaming up with a great brand to create a unparalleled opportunity. Good luck to whomever wins these and please (!!!) share the pics.

Burner Version B Irons look great and I am sure will be a huge success. I would make a great recipient and brand ambassador if chosen for these custom irons. As a guy who likes to tinker and try all clubs, you couldn't choose a better tester. As well, all the key TM guys are from Wisconsin!

Demoed the Burner 09's and loved them. Ball shot off the face like a rocket; great distance but no sacrifice in control. My game would greatly appreciate either set, but the customized "B" version seems to good to be true. Count me in for either, please!!

Those look outstanding and seem to be exactly what I am looking for. A mid-size, medium sole, medium offest club with some forgiveness.

Well if you base it upon my game the retail burner irons would be a better fit and who could argue with the praise they have recieved. With some KBS shafts they would be killer. As I understand TM took a whole new approach to the design of these so it would be great be able to play irons with some hefty R&D behind them.

But

On the other hand to have a 1 of 20 set would be AWESOME! Even if it is against my better judgement ... but when was anyones' last golf purchase made because of careful thought and consideration. Everyone I play with wants the newest, rarest and the best so some real tour issue burners would be exactly that ... even if they may not be the best fit.

So count me in for either one ....

Seriously.....Ended up digging my ol' Ping I3s out of the corner last year - after needing to sell my I5s to make a house payment. Long story short.....Manufacturing Engineers are in short demand/long supply in Indiana.

Would love to game a either set of irons - but give the "pimped [i]players[/i] set" to someone better than I!! I'm an 10-11 h'capper that would do well with the retail version.

Right now, the closest I can get to a new set of TMs is playing with them on my TW2010 Xbox 360 (look for me online - Cuda Kota).

I would love to have a set of either one of these.......Still hitting PING ISI irons that are about 10 yrs. old Us POOR educators must WIN sets of clubs in order to get new sets!!!! I have never hit TM irons in my life. Heard they are really good. Can't buy used clubs due to the fact that my specs are 4 degrees upright and 1" long. Hope I win at least one of the sets!!

1. I think the new burner irons are one of the best looking irons currently in the market. I'm a product/graphic designer and I value good designs.

2. I have always played TM drivers and woods yet never played TM irons.

3. It will take at least a couple of more years by the time I am able to shop for a new irons set.
