NV75X isn't that stiff....?

feels a bit whippy!!!??

hi guys,

just got curious because i was hitting my 510tp 9.5 wit nv 75x tipped 1/2 inch,

didn't really feel that "Stiffness" that NV supposed to feature,

but on the other hand, Diamana83X, felt a bit stiff for me,(maybe it was a bit cool today, maybe thats why?) and i noe that Diamana is supposed to be a smooth shaft,

something doesn't seem right here...

i've always thought Diamana was a bit smoother than the Speeder757 and the NV was inbetween these two shafts...

perhaps i have a lil misunderstanding??

510tp feels a bit light to me, where should i place my lead tape??

any help would be very helpful

i have the 510tp 8.5 NV prototype stiff and ill agree it does not feel as stiff as other normal green NV's...i also feel that the 510TP is a pretty light feeling driver and it seems like its either frickin amazing assuming my swing is on and i hit it well...but when im off it hurts...switching to the ft-3

I KNOW. I can't believe how flimsy the Aldila NV S flex is. I have had this in my driver. Flipped a V2 in and have never been happier. I like a little more flimsy shaft in my fairway woods so i put the aldila in my 200 steel.

yea,

before i installed the shaft, i've had a similar post, and ppl were telling me that i should tip a bit to make it play true to flex,

and i was a bit worried that it might be too stiff for me, but it turns out that it doesnt,

what about Diamana?

thought this was a smooth shaft...but feels a bit stiff

Ok, get them CPM'd and find out whether or not they are stiff enough, or too stiff for you. All shafts are not made the same. The NV that you have in reality is probably playing a little softer than it says and quite possibly the Diamana is playing stiffer than it says. There's only one way to find out.
