Anyone tied or broke their course record?

Just had to ask since today I tied my 9 hole course record. 4-under par 31. It was just one of those days where everything works out. :cheesy:

the par is 37-35-72

my best front nine is 32 and my best back nine is 30 and the 18 hole course record is a 61. John daly shot 67 then 62 when he played here

Man, my course stinks in that respect, used to hold the Honda Classic there for a year or two (1997 I think) so our 18 hole course record from the back is like 62 or 63 from just over 7k yds. And Im with Vince, I woulda kept going to make the official 18 hole course record.

I dont think anyone will break the course record at my course it is either help by Lanny or Bobby Wadtkins they grew up playing my course along with John Rollins. No one knows what the record is but they think it is 63 which wither Lanny or Boddy shot when they were kids.

My course record is a 65. I shot 64 when I was out with my father, but they would not let it stand because it was not a competitive round (Club C etc.)

 

The funny thing is that last year I shout 66-68-70 in club C, so it is not like it was out of the question that I could do it??

The thing is Adam, it's only a dinky 9 hole course. I don't believe anyone has kept records for 18 holes.

Well one of the courses in my area the record is 59 (par 71 at the time, now its a par 70), so I don't think I could shoot that anytime soon, but I wouldn't mind breaking 60 before I even break 70.

No one will ever again break the course record at my home course. The former pro (a guy that I caddy for occassionally) shot 56. It's par 70 so he shot back to back 27s. Pretty sure that one won't ever be broken. I've only gotten it to -2.

I own my home course record with a 68 -4 from 6800....the course has only been open two years. i missed 67 bc i three putted the last hole. the record from the back tees wch are 7100 is only like 70 so i plan on breaking that soon.

Our course record is 64 one of the junior guys shot that in summer last year. I doubt it will be broken coz the greens are lethal on the front. I wont be coming close anytine soon though.

Our course record is -8 - 64, which was set during the 1994 Club Championship. The guy had 4 bogeys, 8 birdies, and 2 eagles. We still have the scorecard in our proshop. My goal is to break that by the time I leave the course (so over the next 2 seasons). It is not out of the question as I have had days with 6-7 birdies on the course. Everything just has to fall, and you have to hit A LOT of greens. I am not sure what our junior course record is, but I am sure it is ~67-68 because we have a had a lot of good juniors come through our club. I will have to find that number out.

As for my courses junior record, it is 63 by one of my good friends. I have the 3rd lowest score for juniors at 65.

My home course opened in 1949 and the course record is 64 shot the Easter Sunday in 2004.

BUT, he made 3 consecutive eagles. He holed out for an eagle on #8 (2 on Par 4), made a 30 footer for eagle on #9 (3 on Par 5) and made a Hole-In-One on #10. He was -9 through 10 holes and only shot -8 and the back nine is WAY easier than the front (probably 3 or 4 shots easier).

 

I bet there aren't many people who have ever made 3 consecutive eagles.
