SANTOKU GRIND - used as a term for specialty slicing knives. These knives have a series of similar hollowed out ovals along the cutting edge that keep food from sticking to the edge of the blade.

Title pretty much sums it up. What Jamey has decided to do is giveaway one of his wedges if you can name it. The wedge originally was named but Jamey was unaware that that particular name was being used by a pretty famous putter manufacturer. Jamey is new to the site and we want to start off by giving away one of his test grinds. Let me tell you, I personally use this grind. I was a bit of a guinea pig for it but let me tell you I was glad to test it. It is my gamer and will continue to be. It knocked a Vokey Proto right out of my bag. You can see my personal wedge that he made for me in James Patrick wedges introduction to the site post. I also had a couple pro’s (PGA tour) try it out and they all said that is awesome!! This grind will help an amateur out of bunkers and for flop shots tremendously both pro’s commented. They also commented on how nice it still was for regular full shots. I am using mine every round for all types of shots!!! HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN ONE FOR FREE!!

I would call it Sand Dune...
Mainly because wedges are used out of the sand obviously and dune can be used to describe the bumps on the wedge as well as dunes on a links course or bumps on a course!!
