My clubs for 2010... can't wait for the spring!

Here's my setup for 2010- for details see my signature...
Still looking for some nice Jan Craig style headcovers. I'm trying to convince my sis (who is an avid knitter) to make me some. If I get some, I'll be sure to post some pics on here!
Goals for 2010:
Drive the ball straighter
Spend less money on clubs

Thanks for the nice comments! I went to the range and hit my 755's last night for the first time and I must say, I was very impressed! I bought them on ebay last week for $130 after noticing that Stricker still had them in his bag. They have a similar, if slightly more muted, feel compared to my 690.MB's with obvious added forgiveness. I can see why Stricker still plays these clubs, they're great!
I might be upgrading to a 909 series 3 wood and am flirting with the idea of a new 60º wedge, but I probably shouldn't.
Now we just need a few days above freezing up here in CT so I can get out there!

You wouldn't meet your aforementioned 2010 goals! Besides the 906F is plenty solid. If the wedges are worn, then I can see that as a good investment in your game.

Great bag, Im glad you find irons that you enjoy to play with. How are they in terms of forgiveness?

From what I can tell, they're pretty forgiving. I've owned Ping S58's in the past, and they're comparable. They just have a better feel to them than the Pings did.

Bag's all set for 2010! I think I'm going to stick with this setup, though I might switch back to a three wedge system if I'm playing a longer course. We'll see.

My brother and I almost joined that Tuesday night league, but he couldn't make it work with his schedule. You guys are open now, right?

Uh oh, the season's barely underway and I've already made another change!
Last time I played, I noticed a big gap in my yardage from 250 to 210. I had a lot of opportunities on par 5's to get on in 2 from 235, but didn't have the right club. I guess I could've tried to choke up on my 3 wood, but that's usually a bad idea for me. Anyway, I decided to bite the bullet and get myself a 5 wood. I decided on the 909f3 because I love the deeper face and solid feel. I dropped the 52º and 56º and put the 54º wedge back in the bag. Hopefully, this setup will work out!

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: I think this is my final bag for a while. I love these clubs! I might upgrade my 3 wood with another 909, but the old 904F is still pretty trusty. Here are some new pics:

I've been having trouble hitting my 21º hybrid lately, so I decided to take my old 3 iron to the range and compare it to the hybrid. Long story short- the 3 iron kicked the hybrid's BUTT. Not even close. I was hitting the 3 iron SO much better than the hybrid. So, the 3 iron is back in the bag along with the 690•MB pitching wedge. The gap between my 9 iron (140 yards) and Vokey 48º wedge (120 yards) was just too big. The 690•MB wedge is 1/2" longer than the Vokey and hits it closer to 130 yards.

Any thoughts on why you went back to the 690s from the 755s? Shot trajectory? Just the pleasing feel of flushing a blade? What handicap range are you in?

Hey OK_Golf!
I changed back mostly due to the shafts. My 690's have nice DGS300's in them as opposed to the TriSpec shafts in the 755's. I really grew to dislike the TriSpec shafts. They were just way too whippy and unresponsive. I also LOVE the feel and look of the blades.
I'm a 4 handicap right now, down from a 7 last year. Thanks for looking!
