Hey Golfwrx'ers! This is my current setup going into the 2010 season! I have had a lot of work done in my bag, and while the irons remain the same I have lots of new/old clubs that have been reshafted to perform. I love my new setup and hope you guys like them too, feel free to leave feedback and enjoy the pictures!



Before the pics here is a breif outline of WITB!

Driver: Adams Insight LDA Prototype 9016D 6.5, 46.5" V2 65g High Launch XX stiff shaft
Fairway: Titleist PT 15 wood, V2 90g x stiff shaft
Titleist PT 20 wood, V2 76g x stiff shaft
Irons: Titleist 690.MB irons 3-PW True Temper Dynamic Gold x100 shafts
Wedges: (Currently on order thru Titleist)2010 Titleist Vokey Spin Milled Wedges 48-54-58 TTDG x100
For now, 2009 Vokey Spin Milled 56-60 TTDG x100 shafts
Putter: PING Wack-E B 42" putter (absolutely in love)!
Ball: 2009 Titleist ProV1X

All my clubs are gripped with Golf Pride New Decade MultiCompound Grips White/Black Wedges Red/Black midsize

thanks guys! yea pretty pumped to get back out playing again maybe a new bag to put them in and out with a nike bag that doesnt fit properly lol, and my ss is on avg 120 maybe a little less the HL shaft seemed to work nicely lauching the ball higher than i would ever expect on a 6.5 lofted driver and the XX helps too

i see your in st cits, im from hamilton what range are you at? it would be nice to find one even for a driver to it some balls in the winter

hey, yea sure the range im at is the niagara falls sportsplex and its open mon-fri and they have a website with directions just google it! and ill post some pics of the golf dome in oakville which is a much larger facility with targets and is full flight

Nice driver..... I have the same one (6.5) with a harrison saga 70x. Nice choice and cool setup.

Where do you play in St. Catharines?

Play on any of the local tours, etc.?

Used to live there so just interested.

Love that golf dome in Niagara Falls, spent my winter there last year.

Hey I play in at a course near st kitts called twenty valley and also a member at lookout point, i played on the Canadian tour in 07-09 hopefully have a much more successful year this year! dont we all wish that lol, but yea i played in the amateur leagues around the area like the nevada bob tour, but recently have been travelling in the mini tours, like the hooters tour, guess thats why I choose the canada colours lol and the dome has been a saving grace so my year never starts out too rusty thanks for the comments guys!

its a possibility as they are very similar to the ones i have, I like them but this is my third year of buying these particular heads ive had lots of success with them and it would take alot to get them out of my bag, this new driver is beyond words too!

Looks like you have a very nice swing, and being a fellow lefty how do you like the titliest irons and fairways? Also the remove before flight tags are a nice little add on to your bag! surprised it wasn't mentioned earlier.

Did they adopt the new "groove" rule on the Canadian Tour for 2010? If so you might want to pick up those MB's sooner rather than later.

If I see a lefty bombing balls at the sportsplex I'll be sure to say hi.

yes you are absoutely right about that new groove rule! ughhh i might need to make a call to titleist very shortly lol thanks ill get back to you

and finally! I get a comment on the plane tags "remove before flight" i borrowed the idea off a fellow wrx'ers setup i dunno if anyone else noticed you, but around the tour i get lots of little comments about it, always have to make sure you launch them 30 yards pastthe other players or the tags are pointless haha.

and i absolutely love the pt woods, i have finally let go of my 905s and 905r as goto clubs with the 9016d however the woods are a recent addition even though they are olddddd! i found them for 20$ at a locol store with basic ei-70 tt shafts, dont get me wrong they still flew nice, but i always liked the performance of the v2 tour spec shafts nice low and piercing so i put those on and left the 906f and 2 iron out and have not turned back since, ive just never hit a more solid sounding and long fairway, might just be the traditionalist coming out iof me, thanks for the comments guys

oh and maybe ill catch ya at the dome one time, always nice to see golfers from this site

Sweet sticks. I think the 690.mb's are some of the best blades ever made. The 695's and ZM's don't compare. I love Titleist but I think Mizuno's topped them in the iron department lately. Just bought a set of MP-68's. Nice set-up!

I'm in the same boat in regards to the PT woods. They're probably the most solid woods I have ever played. I picked up a 970 this winter because I just haven't found ANYTHING that's as solid as the PT (and I heard the 970 is a carbon copy of it). Now I just have to figure out what shaft to put in it.....
