New Bridgestone J38 irons

I am currently gaming a set of J36 combos and I have no desire to change. I do really like the new golf bag though

I was able to hit both versions of the J38 irons at a Demo Day Saturday. I was surprised. I started with the Dual Pockets because I game J36 PCs now. I decided to hit a few with the CB and was really impressed. The CB had a better, higher, ball flight and felt more stable than the DPs. The CBs have the magnesium weighting and the DPs do not. It seems, and I was told, that the magnesium weighting actually helps more than the DP design.

I am going to another Demo Day in 2 weeks where I will try them again. I love Bridgestone, but I have been intrigued by the Cally Tour X-Protos, so I stopped by Cally and hit it. I was blown away. It might have been I was just more warmed up and lose. I didn't have a lot of time that day. next time I'll hit a bunch of a number of things and do a better comparison. If I go Bridgestone, it would likely be the J38 CBs. But... the Cally Tour X-Protos could knock those out of contention. We'll see....
