Anyone game a yamaha inpres 460 Driver?

IMO, for every 10 threads asking for a review, there is 1 thread actually on JDM equipment.
We are seriously lacking.

On that note, no I have not.

I already posted a review on the Impres X D201 S. I should have a V201 IMPRES X 460 coming this week if it clears customs on schedule. I have hit just about every driver setup known to man, and the Yamaha D 201 S is hotter off the face and longer then any driver Ive ever hit.

Yep as I have both. The Speedline Classic is a denser heavier feeling club and the face is deeper. It is a very impressive club in its own right and much more forgiving than the 9015D. It has a 510 TP like feel. I put a Rombax 6x07 in there last fall , and got good results hitting it. I rate it the best of the Speedline models , but the FAST 10 is close. The Yamaha is more forgivng and lively across the face. I am really biased towards the Yamaha at this time. The ball flat out comes off the face hotter than any driver Ive ever hit and in Jan temps in the mid 30s to mid 40s IM getting close to and in some spots summer carry yardage with a stock shaft that I have to swing smooth to hit it. I have tons of good shafts on hand and got the stock shaft as a baseline. I have a V201 460 coming tomorrow with a ROMBAX J. We just had 8 inches of snow this past weekend and more expected. Hopefully I can get to the course in a week or so. THis has been a terrible winter in the DC area for golf this year. Range rock tests dont count, except to keep the swing grooved in winter downtime.

I have the 2009 Yamaha Inpres 4.6V Tour driver with a JPGA Bassara Griffin shaft. Longest ever ever ever. I am waiting for the weather to let up so I can test it against a Kamui 420 with the same shaft. Driverhead lives close to me so we will try and meet up.
