I called the Golfsmith where I bought it. They don't have a clue when it's coming in. Website ship date now pushed to April 14th.

 

April 16th and counting........

Looks like the adjustable weights are not used on these, or am I seeing it wrong?

Confirmed mid to late May or longer. A problem getting materials so they say. Thinking of canceling and getting something else. What to get though for $300. Are the other Black Tour Designs delayed also or is this just the 2 Ball Blade ?

You can get the other Black Tour Design putters now. Only the 2-ball Blade is delayed.

 

Callaway can't figure out their release date internally. I called Customer Service a couple of time. Tony at CS says that the 2-ball blade will be released on October 15, 2010. Brett at CS says he got an email earlier in the week saying that the release date is May 15, 2010 due to production issues. Two different stories from two reps at CS.

They had a few at the Callaway range here in Vegas. I was quite pleased with this putter. Only offset putter I've ever felt comfortable putting with. Great feel and everything. Should be a great addition to any club ho's bag.

O.K. I emailed Odyssey to get the release date for the 2-Ball Blade, and here's there official response:

In response to your inquiry, the Black Series 2-ball blade currently has a release date of late May so you will most likely see it in the stores early June. You will know it’s available for purchase when it is listed for sale on shop.callawaygolf.com.

I just picked one of these up to replace my White Ice 2-ball blade. Similar to the White Ice version, I assumed that the Tour Design would come with the additional weights and wrench. But the guys at the store said the Tour Design does not come with them. What gives?? Were they mistaken or do we really have to buy them separately in addition to already paying $299 for this?

Can the weights in the Black Series Tour be screwed out with the wrench that comes with the white ice?

I got one when they first came out....love the 2ball alignment, LOVE no insert, but(always a but, LOL) the toe hang is less(closer to face balanced) than I like....I need a putter that releases easier. I still put with it some days when I feel like going left hand low..

It's a great option for guys that want that 2 ball look, and no soft insert.
