Is there speculation as to any new clubs that will revolutionize the long drivers club or shaft?

Yes sure, but each time something good appears the inventors fail to market it properly and invariably completely ignore enquiries about their product! I have repeatedly attempted to work with small co. innovators and am ignored. Big companies invariably reply "We have our own in-house research and design team and do not work with outsiders."

Take a look at Scandium shafts, Stulz shafts, Air Force One Driver Heads (powerbilt.com). Scandium technology is capable of revolutionising golf shafts but they cannot even be bothered to reply to e-mails. And, their marketing is so ineffective that 99.9% of golfers have never heard of the product years after it was brought out!

I have in principle designed a driver head which would be completely legal and beat anything out there. But, who would listen? Manufacturers are invariably non-communicative or too big too care. In any event the big guys are totally zoned in to aerodynamicly inefficient 460cc heads which look like USA lorries and technically that is not the way forward. Maybe they are right? Most golfers like BIG and shiney, not what would hit further. Big is always best. At least that is what we have been programmed to believe.
