I couldn't get the playing partners forum to load, but I'm really just kinda curious as to who on here lives in, or plays alot of golf here in Kentucky. Or even south western West Virginia. Speak now! ;)

Well, I live in Glasgow, KY, but I play all over the state.

I live in very southern Indiana. 15 minutes from Louisville. I consider myself a Kentucky golfer. I play more in KY than in Indiana.

I do lots of golfin in ohio though.....cheaper it seems

Robertson county, KY.. The smallest county in kentucky by population! I usually play in maysville, paris, lexington, and some in southern ohio..

I played at Lafayette last week. The course was in great condition for this time of year! The only thing is that it is such a drive from Bowling Green. But, it was definitely worth it. It was the first time I played there since my playing for my high school golf team! And I mean, who gives free range balls with the purchase of a Green's Fee anyways?!

For all of the players close to Bowling Green: Where is it that you prefer to play around here? Crosswinds is over priced and over rated, IMO, so I like to travel anywhere within two hours of Bowling Green.

Highly recommend Dale Hollow State Park in Burkesville. Play it from the tips and I promise it's a great test. I was fortunate enough to play Valhalla, and I think Dale Hollow compares favorably, and it's MUCH less expensive. In fact, the "signature series" state park courses are a blast. I live in Somerset, and our park course, Burnside Island, is a great little track.

Tried to get a KY (or there bouts) outing together early this year but fell through, maybe next year we can have a spring outing, I know justaman5 would be in!

NKY golfer here, but I've been playing all over the tri-state area, mainly to try new courses. Lately I've been mainly playing Kenton County. I'm up for meeting other golfers in the area. About a 10 handicapper right now, but when playing well, about a 5.
