DRIVER CARRY VS ROLLOUT = TOTAL YARDAGES ??

I notice that I can sometimes get much more distance off the tee with a 10.5 Ping driver because of rollout on a course with hard ground fairways than when I use a 12 degree Ping driver. Trajectory is lower on the 10.5 so I get less carry but more rollout. On lush courses it kinda evens out with sometimes more distance on the 12 degree since it hangs in the air longer but doesn't do much after it lands.

I do notice that there seems to be more accuracy with a higher trajectory even though I might be getting less overall yardage. Is this correct?

It also seems that hooks can get worse with the 10.5 degree than the 12 degree driver. Higher face driver loft reduces side to side spin. Right? Does it matter?

Right now I use a 12 degree Ping G-10 driver with the Grafalloy Pro Launch Red shaft in regular flex. I tried it at 44.5 inches but put it back to stock length. Results were the same either way with more accuracy and smoother tempo at stock length.

I used to use a Titleist 975D for many years. Trajectory seemed a lot lower than modern drivers but more rollout.
Are higher drives and less rollout better?

Suggestions and thoughts?

I have gone from a 9.5 Burner to a 10.5 R9 for the various reasons you mentioned. I found that I had a lot more roll out with the burner which is fine if you hit the ball straight and the fairways are flat . I was finding that my ball was rolliing a long way but a lot of the time into trouble and the extra distance was not worth it. If I want a lower flight on a windy day etc I will use a low flight ball and tee it lower. Its very hard to hit a ball higher when needed with a low lofted driver than the other way around. I can carry 220-240 yards with the 10.5. (draw/fade). If I was 180 or less I may look for the roll option if the course allowed. I play with plenty of oldies off handicaps of 12 or less who drive 200 or less with lots of roll
