Got my SuperTri yesterday!

Niiiice, can't wait to order mine(couple more weeks) Is it a Supertri TP? Saw the fubuki shaft in the pics

Not sure how to tell. It was made from the Tour department on my Pro's account, so it could be.. He said he couldn't order a TP specifically, but it'd be a random chance that it might be.

It looks sweet though, I demoed the supertri a couple days ago and I love the fubuki shaft. Have you hit it yet? fiddled with the weights?

It's setup exactly how I had it setup for me at the TMAG Performance Labs. 2* open, Fade Weight. I basically told my buddy that I NEVER want it to go left.. so we hit a bunch with his demo and I can get it to draw if I really want it to (which is my normal ball flight), but I'll probably NEVER hook it. If it's too hard to move left, or if the fade is too much, I'll go back to neutral weighting.

Other than that, yeah, I was killllling it. I'm playing saturday. Reports will follow

I see that you use to play the sumo 5900 in 8.5 which is what I played before my dymo. Did you get the supertri in 8.5 loft as well? Have you had time to compare the 2 drivers in terms of launch or spin? Yeah that's what I love about TM's R9 line, FCT is a great option to have.

The spin is a bit lower than my SuMo.. but without seeing the SuperTri outside yet, I can't tell you how the ball flight is, roll, etc. It's pretty wet here this week, so I'm sure roll will be a luxury..

Congrats. I got the same exact stick a few weeks ago and love it. Not the longest but being in the fairway almost every swing makes up for it.

I really want this driver. A couple of questions if you don't mind: How much distance do you think you sacrifice and are your drive straighter because of the club's forgiveness or the ability to tweak setup?

Also curious as to how that black paint job is holding up.

5 yard loss; maybe 10 if I smoked my old driver (G5). It's straighter for me because of the ability to tweak the club. I play a draw and setup the Supertri to play more of a straight to slight fade (1 open, 18 grams on toe, 8 grams in back, and 6 grams on heel) trajectory on a normal swing.

I've played 3-4 rounds with it and probably 6-8 range sessions of at least 20-25 balls each and the paint still looks good.

Still want to hit the Superdeep but I have been really pleased with the Supertri thus far.

Congrats. Another one added to the Supertri family. I have a Supertri 9.5 with a Tour Ad DI 7x shaft and it is the longest, most consistent shaft I have played.

0you got custom fitted right? just out of curiosity, how much did you spend on this? i am going to get fitted for the supertri, but i dont know how much it will cost. i either want to voodoo, or the fubuki shafts.

I got mine awhile back. All the stock shafts aren't all that. The fubuki spins too much for me, the motore is terrible(worst shaft fuji has ever made which is saying alot because their shafts are excellent), x-con spins too much, and the rip doesn't feel right. I got mine customized with a tp6hd and it's bombs away. The loss of distance is definately there because the shafts have to be screwed into the heads, and there is a slight loss of energy between the shaft and head. For me anyways, I feel as though I only lose 5 yards which is fine with me.

Go for it, you won't be disappointed. It exudes confidence the head is so big. If you can crush the ball, look into the lower lofts. With my ss, I found the 8.5 to be perfect. It is TM's highest launching head to date.
