Somebody help me out there...

In the part 4 pictures from the PGA, he has the 3 wood, 5 wood and 2 iron all in the bag. Does he just decide before he goes out to play if it's 2 iron or 5 wood? Or does he keep both and drop the 3 iron? Probably a stupid question, I just can't figure it out.

2i has a Project X Pxi, which is essentially a lighter PX shaft. I believe that he has been using that shaft since the 2i was built.
Additionally, Tiger's 2i has a 3 on it because it is a 3 - his traditional lofts mean that a vrs 3 iron matches his "2 iron" loft.

Still rockin' the Pingman grip on the flat stick. It's odd his wedges there is no 52 or 54.

Not really, I think his PW is about 50*, Tiger has been using a 56/60 set up his entire career, his short game is built around those lofts, why would he screw with his short game just so his gaps look good on paper? Perfect 4 degree gapping is one of the most overrated things in terms of golf equipment IMO. I heard Tiger say once his 56 is his go-to club around the green when the pressure is on.

[/quote]True. I sometimes choke down on my PW and play a 75% little punch at times. Same all of my 6-PW.
