Must Play in Colorado Springs

If you are in or around Colorado Springs go play Antler Creek. If you think you long this course will humble you real quick. 8250 from the tips and plays every bit of it. Narrow and tough. Course is in great shape and rates are even better. Before 1pm. $39 and after $29 includes cart. This is by far the best public Course in the Springs area.

yeah, the place is just nasty long. Not to mention that it has been insanely windy down here the past month, and it just howls non-stop out there. What's more fun than a 490 par 4 into a 35 mph wind?

I haven't played that course yet, definitely on my short list for this summer. How is the condition of the course right now?

I played it about a month ago as it has been a very mild winter so far here on the front range. I agree it is a beast and a little too long for my blood. Just not a fan of having to hit Driver and mid iron on every par 4. If I remember right all of the par 5's play over 600 yards and I think there was one that was playing right at 700 yards. I think the slope was right around a 150

Course was in great shape however. But, if you are in the Springs area I honestly think it is worth the short drive over to four mile ranch in Canon City. Good Value and in very good shape. But, some folks are hit and miss on Engh's designs. He also did Redlands Mesa, Fossil Trace and Red Hawk Ridge
