Attached please find an invitation to the Inaugural Panama City Glasstream invitational. We are in hopes all can join us here in PC to jump start the first tournament. If anyone has any questions, you can reach the tournament director via email: [email protected] or cell 757-374-7456.

Although I think you will discover that this will be a great tournament, we are planning to have a big event this year thanks to Glasstream. In addition to playing lots of golf, we are contemplating having a boat/party on shell island prior to the start of golf, maybe also playing a round at Bay Point in addition to the Hombre.

These Calcutta tournaments are usually a lot of fun and can pay lots of money to the winners. The past few Calcuttas that have taken place in this area have all had pots well over the $65,000 mark. This tournament should be no different. Please read over the entry form and I hope to see everyone there.

Format will be a 4-Man scramble with TRUE A,B,C, & D Players. HANDICAPS WILL BE VERIFIED. Once the 36-team limit is reached in each category (A,B,C, & D) extras will be placed on stand-by.

$240 PER PERSON ENTRY FEE. Includes golf & lunch for players on Saturday & Sunday rounds. Also included is dinner on Friday night for players before the Calcutta. If you plan to bring a guest for dinner Friday night, it will be an additional $25.00 per guest. Once you are signed up there will be No refunds issued.

There will also be an optional 3-Person Scramble on Friday 8/27 at 3:00pm. Check in at the Pro Shop no later than 2:15pm. Also, for this scramble, include $45.00 with your entry fee. This is in addition to the $240.

ENTRY DEADLINE AUGUST 17TH . The attached entry form must be received on or before 8/17 and filled out completely.

(Note: The Palms Conference Center is located right next to the Sleep Inn & Suites. There will be music provided before Calcutta and after.)

Calcutta will pay 4 places each day. If you plan to purchase teams, please be sure to bring enough cash or checks written in even increments, i.e. $400, 500, 600 etc. Cash is the preferred method.

Prizes: There will be a HOLE IN ONE PRIZE, complements of GLASSTREAM POWERBOATS of Panama City. Yes, a brand new GLASSTREAM Power Boat, valued @ $25,000!!!! Also, closest to the hole prizes on all par 3s will also be awarded ($100-150 each) for both Saturday and Sunday’s competition and open to all participants. In addition, there will be a few door prizes given away before the Calcutta Friday evening.
