adding new items

Here is where there really needs to be more direction in the rules...

 

I have 10 items I put up on the 1st of the month by the 15th 5 are sold. Now I have 5 more items I want to sell. They are new items so obviously I want to put them at the top of the list as a new post. I am still selling my original 5 items from previous post. Should I put a new post for the new 5 items, and leave the original post there, since you can post a new topic with old items for 30 days, or do I combine them since one of the rules says you need to close old posts before you add a new one?

 

Or do I have to close my old post and only put up the new items, and wait for my old items to go 30 days then... do the same damn thing again? Or is the best thing to just wait another 30 days and repos the old 5 and new 5 at the same time? So retarded...

 

Isn't this a little ridiculous? This means if I put up 9 obscure items that might not sell quickly, and I want to sell one thing like a supertri that will go in 5 mins if priced correctly, I would need to close the post about the 9, and sell the supertri, then wait until 30 days are up?

 

Also what happened to me is that I put new items in my old post but the post was already pages back...

 

Now I want to have a new post with my new stuff, but can I since I mistakenly wasted time with it in the back where not a single item sold? This whole situation reminds me of BSG (obviously besides the fee, which makes me wonder whats the point of policing it with so many stupid rules?) 30 days I think is absurd. It incentives people to unload stuff at super cheap prices just because you want to sell quickly before it makes page 4 and you know no one will see it again... Isn't the 2nd hand club market depressed enough???? Think about it...

not sure if this answers your question, but you have to close your original ad before starting a new one, i.e. you can't have 2 ads running at the same time (at least i don't think so).

there is an alternative, you can pay the fee to have it in the pinned topics, that way it will always be on the first page and you can add as many new items as you want at anytime.

also, just because your ad is on page 4, does not mean that people are not looking at it. i often browse through the later pages looking for items that i may have missed, i'm not looking at the bst 24 hrs a day, so its possible i may have missed something i'm looking for.

and like nvr said, there is always ebay.
