TM 05 tp satin

I am on the look out for another set of irons, the only ones that fit my eye are the TM tp retails(chrome),
Trouble is , to me they feel horrid, best i can describe via a keyboard is hard and brittle feeling, sort of like the feel you get when you neck it.
So i have been looking at the Tour satin versions.
Could some owners please give me some input on these irons,along the lines of what they feel similar to from another brand,eg mizzy mp 60.
I presume the version too go for is the swirly face one as these are suposedly miura forged, not that im bothered who forges them as long as the irons feel nice and solid, but soft.

Please tell me what version you have and how they feel compared to some other irons you have hit, this would give me a good indication to the comparison.

Both sets are sweet...I have hit em both and would be happy with either. Though I think TMaG has all their irons in house milled now, I dont believe it to be Miura. Also I dont think there are any sets available this past week in Ct. to tour players, just the dipped ones.

Littleeasy, my opinion is quite oppose to u but I tried the TP 05 retail and they feel so soft and solid. The trajectory is good, not too high but the hot is the distance... long. Normally I hit 6-iron about 170 yards, TP went 180.

I'm all Nike, now with pro combo OS (forged by Endo) but I have to admit that the TP feel a lot more soft. Things that the set I tried might differ to u is the shaft. they got Nippon Steel NSpro950GH stiff.

check the shaft out, it gives u a lot of diferrence.

Try the TM forged MB, they are even better. also Srixon I-506.

I have been playing the RAC TP combo for2 years and recently have an urge to change. Tried demo of the RAC 05 TP, Mizzy MP32 and the 06 TP Mb. It was down to the MP 32 and 06 TPs. Difficult chose :yahoo: . MP32 feels slightly softer while the TPs feels more workable and forgiving. Having played TMs for quite awhile, I now have the 06 satin MB and never regretted it. If you like you irons solid but soft, you should definitely give them a try. By the way, love the look and finish. :yahoo:

I have a set of chrome tour 05 TP's, no mill marks. I think they are good. Soft, excellent ball flight.

like some of the members above, i currently play the retail chrome '05 cb tp2's, and they feel solid to me...not harsh at all littleeasy...although i have been having the urge to at least TRY a tour satin set and will probably do so soon...

mp32's are softer and more forgiving, when u catch the TP MB's solid they aren't as soft as the MP's are, the mis hits aren't as harsh for me at least either. take a look at the 695's
