Recommended Swing Speeds

I tried to look for the diamana 83 recommended swing speeds for each flex but can't find them. Can someone help me out? My swing speed is 116-120 and was wondering what flex I need. I have an X now but seem to block everthing right. Could this be a swing fault or too stiff a shaft?

I would think that SS is worthy of an X. What driver?

What shaft did you have in it before, and how did you hit it?

 

I swing about 105, and hit an 83X in a nike SQ. I hit it fairly well, but in the end I think I'm going with an S tipped a bit...

According to Mitsubishi Rayon, anything over 106 MPH or 260yards of carry is an X flex.

 

 

 

I play an 83 x in mine, and love it.

 

Maybe you are blocking, I would try again and make sure your left side isn't pulling you. I see lots of people pull to hard with their left side on the driver so the can "really boom it"

 

 

 

Also, another little trick, when you finish, does your right foot go up on point? can you tap it 3 times while holding your finish? If you can't, this can cause you to block.

 

 

 

Also 1 more thing that will help. when you finish, try finishing with your hands close to your left ear and stair down your shot. This really helps guys fix blocking problems and is something that integrates into every shot, not just a cheesy swing fix. Watch tiger hit his long irons if you don't believe me. notice ho we bonces the shaft off his back. same thing.

 

 

 

Here is a cheesy fix, close your stace and turn your right foot out 15 degrees. this will work if you need a quick fix mid round, but don't make it part of your swing.

 

 

 

Good luck, You just got a $300 lesson for free. I had the same problem once and I saw one of top rated teachers about it. that is everything he had me doing.

i'm 105ish playing an 83s tipped 1/4" in R5tp. cpm of 257.

i occasionally block shots to the right, and every time i do it it is because the ball is too far back in my stance...especially for longer irons and woods.....try moving the ball up in your stance
