Thanks to Gozz "Rick" for last weeks Pics from the Price Cutter Charity Championship.

We have some Pics for you to look at. Here is the new R7 iron spotted at the Nationwide last week. Body made of 17-4SS. Will be available in RE-AX 60 PLUS (60g), NS-PRO 950GH (90g), or GS75 (70g). Features an oval shaped ICT, and a Damperning web insert in the cavity.

This is only one of many different R7 irons that we heard will be launched. Here is the info we recieved...

R7 forged iron
R7 TP iron (431-SS Body) Shaft Options- RE-AX TP 85, Dynamic Gold, NS Pro 950GH
R7 iron (17-4SS Body) Shaft Options- RE-AX 60 PLUS, NS-PRO 950GH, or GS75
R7 Ti iron (17-4SS Body) / CNC-milled 6-4ti face) Shaft Opt- RE-AX 60plus, NS PRO 950GH, GS75

Here are the Pics we have of the R7 iron. The web in the cavity is a slightly different shape in the R7 TP iron. Other than the that they looked similar in some other pics we have. Overall the differences between the R7 and the R7 TP are simular to the current LT and the OS. THe Pics we have are the R7.

I have seen a set of these here in Asia already.... if I am not mistaken, targetted mainly at the Asian market.

I would bet you have seen the R7 Ti version. The other 3 models are new.

Check out the latest TM Blog on the Open at Hoylake... several pros had 2 irons built for them and Kenneth Ferrie had a new r7 (TP / Ti) built for him.

the r7 forged are very nice looking irons! if those come out i may just have to consider replacing my beloved mx-23's!

The shaft and product information listed above is from a Japan press release. Do not consider ANY of that information accurate if there is an US launch. For example, the r7 Ti irons and r7 forged are definitely Japan only, and all the shaft options are Japan only. Expect more details about iron plans in mid-to-late August.

those are some interesting looking irons. i am and will always be a TM guy, but i think their designs are really starting to get out there. some of their stuff looks so space age or something. id love to see TM come out with a product that looks plain and classy. Not something that looks like it would be in the bag of ET.

I have a set of the R7 forged limited edition irons on order and am wondering if anyone has any "cleaner" pictures of this iron up close and personal. It's nice to see these but the picture quality is not that good. I will certainly post pics when I receive my irons.
