Alexandria, VA golfers

any decent ranges open

We are driving down to South Carolina from N.E. and have a day stop over in Alexandria, VA. Don't have time to play but would like to get some practice in. Are the ranges open and are there any decent practice facilities in the Alexandria area?

Most ranges here are open. There's Top Golf in Alexandria, but it isn't a "true" range, although, it is still fun because it is outdoor range but with various games you can play or even just for you to monitor some stats.

I'd go down to Laurel Hill. They have a nice big range (off mats of course) and a short game practice green and bunker area and a huge putting green and those are free.
