Please enjoy my attempt to show just how beautiful my new Byron X365 proto is.....I don't think pictures can really do justice to the quality of his work! I was very happy to obtain the "antique" finish AME cover, a very cool looking finish sort of pre-worn leather ...I also thank Steve at Zman golf for his facilitation in the production of this beauty, I highly recommend you contact either to discuss your putter needs........thanks again to all involved

I can't wait to hear how it rolls the ball. At 365 grams, it is more than any I have in my rack, for sure. It ought to be solid as all get out. I love the look of Byron's stuff and yours is a prime example. Thanks for sharing the pics,

LaMont, again a million thanks for all of your help and advice, I have only managed to roll a few on the carpet so far, hoping to get out to longbow at the weekend..the greens are fabulous at present. So far... it has a great solidity, wonderful muted click at impact..I didn't know how I woud feel about the slot...LOVE it. I am never going back to an insert type putter...this is just so good. not decided on grip..may try a grip master leather...any feedback on this grip????? thanks again

Classic looking putter, looks fantastic!

 

Give the gripmaster grips a try , they would look great on it especially alongside that cool looking headcover.

365g is quite heavy even for a shorter length putter, what sort of weight have you been using in the past? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts once you get to roll it on some real greens.

I had been using a studio style weighted up to 350grms at 34" the x365 is 365 grams at 34" finished length. it has great balance. I was also initially concerned with the additional weight however after rolling a few on the carpet I am convinced the added mass helps with a flowing stroke. I look forward to rolling it on the real stuff this weekend......I will post a review after trials, it is so good looking in the flesh

looks great! Now I'm all worked up to look at mine. I have the Byron Lamkin grip on mine and I love it.

As much as I would like to have the Byron logo on the grip, the standard Lamkin is a little thin for me. I picked up a Lamkin deep etch cord, a somewhat larger grip dam##d if I can find it, I must have put it somewhere safe :D My buddie has a C-Thru grip that feels pretty good and is somewhat midsize, now if I could get a Byron sticker to go under that grip now that would be cool. Some thing tells me to try a Gripmaster leather....I'm just not sure

Byron has shaft stickers. Mine came with a black shaft band sticker that says Byron in metalic silver. I wonder if we have the same finish on our 365 xs. It may just be the camera and lighting but yours seems more grey and mine seems more reflective. I know he offers it in black, but I thought there was only one standard "regular" finish. I'd love to see the 365 x-protos in the whole range of finishes.

Mine has a very fine glass beaded finish very smooth looking, I also have the black/silver shaft band. I was thinking about a Byron sticker to place under a C-Thru Grip.....I'm still up in the air with regard grip maybe I should seek out a Gripmaster

I was just talking to the Man... The putters have the same finish on the top,satin mist. Ryan`s putter is high polished on the bumpers face and bottom .Super looking putter. As far as putting a different finish on the putter all you have to do is ask...Its what you want, that is what Byron Golf Design is all about...

I love my finish. I definately see the high polish on the bumpers and bottom. I really like the mill marks too. they give the putter a hand craftsman look.

I agree, I love the mill marks, fine yet define enough to give it that classy look- the face is really nice!!
