Donald using a Royal Collection Driver?

i was just watching PGA Championship

 

and saw Luke Donald at teh range using a Sonartec/Royal Collection looking like driver.

 

can anyone confirm?

It was Luke's 3 wood. Luke uses a Titleist 905 driver.

Here's the information that accompanied the WITB. Luke now plays the MP-32 irons.

 

Lead tape or not: I don't use lead tape, and I leave changing the grips to the professionals.

 

Snack time: I carry two energy bars for every round and eat them at No. 6 and No. 12.

 

Ball mark: I put a dot between the Titleist and the number.

 

Favorite club: I've always had good distance control with all my irons, especially my 7-iron through sand wedge. The shorter the distance, the more I relish it.

 

Off-course hobby: I enjoyed majoring in art in college. Occasionally, I still paint on my off-weeks to relax and take my mind off golf and lead a balanced life, I suppose.

 

Most significant painting: A specially commissioned image of the Western Open to be used on promotional materials for this year's tournament. "I also painted a picture of [former Northwestern teammate] Jess Daley swinging a golf club. I gave it to him when I was the the best man at his wedding.

 

 

 

FAIRWAY WOODS

I use an old Callaway Big Bertha Steelhead Plus 4+ (15 degrees) and a new Nike Ignite T60 4-wood (17 degrees, Fujikura Vista Pro 90 X-flex shaft in both). I'll also go with an 18-degree Nike Pro Combo Utility iron or, when it's windy, I'll use this custom-grind Nike Pro Combo Tour 2-iron because I hit it a little flatter but still about 220 yards.

 

DRIVER

Titleist 905T, 9.5 degrees, Fujikura Fit-on-SIX graphite shaft, stiff flex. I switched to this driver this year, but I've played Titleist drivers ever since I turned pro.

 

FAIRWAY WOODS

3-wood: Sonartec, 14 degrees with a UST Accra SC75 graphite shaft, stiff flex. It's one of the originals from Japan (so it has the Royal Collection BBO markings). I've had it for two years.

 

HYBRID

Mizuno Fli-Hi CLK, 17-degree, Aldila NV85 Hybrid graphite shaft, X-flex. This club replaces my 2-iron. It's a lot easier to hit and a lot more versatile.

 

IRONS

Mizuno MP-33, 3-iron through pitching wedge, True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 shafts.

 

PUTTER

Scotty Cameron by Titleist Newport 2. The reason it's hard to see is the black finish and the fact that it's only 33 inches. It's a little short by most standards, but it has a heavier head (350 grams) for control.

 

WEDGES

Mizuno MP Series, 54 and 60 degrees. Both have True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shafts for a slightly heavier feel than my irons.

I play the Titleist Pro V1x. I've always played low numbers because that's what they give me. I'm not too superstitious.

I'm probably the only guy in the world with aqua-colored grips (Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord). It took Mizuno and Golf Pride more than six months to develop them.

I carry coins from Europe and America, but I like the coin I got for playing on the European Ryder Cup team. I hope it's good luck.

My tees are regular size and white. Fixing ball marks with a tee hurts my fingers, so I go with a tool I got at the Memorial.

Where did this come from? I think I remember seeing this in Justin Leonard's WITB.
