Hibore 3-wood vs Titleist 906

anybody hit both?

Trying to decide on a new 3-wood.....Strongly considering the 906, but would like to get some feedback on the new Hibore FWs from those who have hit them. Ball flight, distance, best of the deck, etc? My club hasn't gotten either in stock for demos yet. Thanks for any info u can give.

I have hit both and if you are a lower cap I would go with the 906. For me the Hibore spun way to much. 906 had a better feel also.

Hibore fwy is actually a very low spin 3 wood...my guess is you hit it with a crappy stock shaft. I can't speak to the 906 as I ordered the tour one and am still waiting for titleist to get it out, but I can say that I play the HiBore with a pro 95 and it is a very neutrally set up very long and accurate 3 wood. Easier to work than the driver as well. I'd say you can't go wrong with either one. Its a preference thing, bc some just can't get used to the HiBore look.

HiBore, hands down.

 

I love the look of the 906 by far, but the better 3-wood is the Cleveland.

 

I am a 4 index, and the 906 with the V2 is so stiff for me, and I swing in the 105 range for the driver. The NV 75 feels wierd in this combo. I would like to hit it with a YS6 in it.

 

Go try the HiBore. Looks ugly, but is nice......sort of like that girl in college....hahaha

I actually hit the V2 in it. It was the 67 though and only a stiff. I would give it another try because the head was very responsive.
