Help with driver shaft

Fellow WXR's I need help!!!

 

I currently game a TaylorMade R7 limited with a Stiff Matrix Ozik 5.5 MOI shaft.

 

My problem is I hit very high spinny drives... Ive been on a launch monitor and my SS is around 110 when I loosen up, my launch angle is alittle high but my back spin rate is way high... I know I hit down alittle, but the R7 is also a high launching driver head, and im not sure about the shaft. I hit shots so high they either plug, backup, or just land and not roll. Im losing maybe 15yrds and its really bothering me..

 

I love this clubhead but my question is - is there a shaft under $100 that can help me reduce my spin..

 

I have never bought an aftermarket shaft so i need help......

You might consider a UST Mamiya AXIVcore Green or an ACCRA AXIV. I think the UST AXIVcore Green lists for $139 but you can pick one up on eBay for less than $100, and the same for the ACCRA. I really like UST shafts. They make an excellent product. I've tried a lot of different aftermarket shafts and I always end up coming back to UST. I also play a Miyazaki sometimes and they have some great low-spin shafts but they're more like $200-250.

Ok went on the launch monitor last night and I am not happy...
Do these numbers seem right..

Didn't show SS=?
Ball speed average= 150mph
Distance= 245-250yrds
Launch angle= 12-15°

I'm usually around 260-265yrds on the course but balloon badly and get no roll out.Last time I check my SS it was 105-108..I just want to lower my ball flight to get some kind of roll out!!!!!!!!!!

Those numbers seem reasonable. What was your spin rate? That will determine why your ball flight is ballooning.

I know Graffaloy Red Pro Launch has a lower ball flight as I'm sure others do.

Good evening, everyone. I am a newbie to this site. My situation is this: I have a Cobra S9-1 Pro-S 9.5 driver. I bought it recently and it has a TT EI-70 Regular flex shaft in it. I would like to re-shaft it with a Stiff shaft. Any recommendations? The stock shaft I believe was the Matrix Xcon 6. I looked these up on e-bay and they are $300 or so. I can't afford that. Any reasonably priced shafts that would fit and perform well for the Cobra S9-1 Pro-S?

I would recommend looking at the Harrision Saga shaft. Its well under $100, has a smooth feel, accurate, with a mid launch

like rule 13.1 stated, the axivcore green would be a good one. Even cheaper would be a proforce v2--you can find those new on the Bay for around $50-60. A newer one w/ the same low spin/low launch is the rip alpha; sameish price as the v2 if you can find a pull or something. Lowest price of all would be the prolaunch red
