Hi, just been to a Ping demo session and managed to try out the new Rapture driver and the Rapture Irons.

 

Not overly impressed by the Driver but the irons were unbelievable for feel, a solid hit just explodes off the clubface, the six iron flew as high as a eight iron with a lovely trajectory, simply superb. They look like retailing for around £700 in the uk.

Could you work the ball at all? Heavy head compared to previous Pings? Give us a good recap

How Did Their Distance Compare To Your Current Irons, Or Other Irons You Have Demo'd ?

 

What Did You Not Like About Them ?

 

I Am Intrested In Purchasing A New Set Of Irons And Like What I've Read & Heard About Them.

Just tried to hit the ball straight so didn't try anything special, the 6 iron was a bit heavier than my normal Mizuno Mx 23, I hit every shot out of the middle so the feel was excellent so can't comment on off centre hits, I would say the 6 iron was pitching as far as I hit a normal 5 iron so one club difference but the flight was high and arrow straight, gotta say very impressed, the look was very similar to the g2 and i5 models which I tried that day. If anyone gets the chance try them out I think you'll be impressed.

When will a ladies version of the rapture come out? Definitely interested in hooking up my MOMS with these babies.
