Forged Irons

Which set to buy?

I want to try a set of forged irons. Which set do you think is the best? I was looking a mizuno MP60s or Hogan Apex irons (maybe even the old school apexs b/c I have used apexs in the past). Anyone have any experience with any of the MIZU irons?

I want to switch b/c I would like to take the game to the next level. I currently hit cavity backs and my iron play has not improved as much as my driving, putting and chipping. I believe I've gotten sloppy with my irons and playing forged irons will help slow down my swing and force me into the zone. Anyone else do this and how did it work out?

I'm not the best person to recommend, but I have both Hogan FTX and Snake Eyes 600XC practice 6-irons, and I like them both. I actually prefer the feel of the Hogan, it just feels better at setup to me. Maybe the 600C would fit better for me.

I was just facing the same dilemma myself, deciding between the Titleist 695 cb, Mizuno Mp-60, and Taylormade '05 RAC TP Forged. I ended up buying the TM's, mostly because I'm a TM ho.

The Mizunos felt great, the Titleists were deffintely the least forgiving of the bunch, but the TM's are buttery soft and still forginving enough so that I don't embarass myself on bad days.
