can somebody can provide some feedback?

Have heard some interesting comments about this driver head from Geek Golf called FAIL SAFE, including a very recent win at the Junior LD championship (400+ yards!). Any of you guys seen of played this head or the Dot-Com-This?

From what i understand Steve Almo is the current owner of Geek Golf and before this he was one of the main owners of Bang Golf. He left the company to be on his own.

They are both solid heads.

One is more of a mid launching low spin head and the other is more of a high launching mid spin head i think

Thanks, I also got more interested when I found out Steve was involved (Bangs are excellent driver heads!). I was hoping to hear from guys who have PLAYED this head too...anyone?

Watch the FailSafe heads. Contact Steve at Geekgolf.net regarding them. I had a problem and Steve is fixing it no questions asked. Can't say enough good about him.

Steve is a great Guy, fun to work with,,, my suggestion might be to wait for the Fail Safe II,,, should be coming out any day

FailSafe II? I have just been in contact with Steve regarding my Fail Safe and no mention of this. Please tell me more. I need a higher launching head that DCT, I fear.

The Failsafe II is on the way as are the new fairways. Irons are also appearing in the future

I had a 10.5 FS with Harrison Mugen 65 shaft last year and played it for a couple of months. It's one of those clubs I shouldn't sold, but I did (to a buddy of mine who absolutely had to have it). The FS will definitely give you a higher launch, and I personally liked it better than the DCT head (which is also a solid head). It's a solid feeling head and gives a nice crack at impact (not muted in any way). Distance was excellent with this combo and just as long as anything else I've hit. I suffered a little bit with accurancy, but this was mostly the shaft and some of my swing faults. It usually is a degree or so closed, but you can have one picked square if you'd like. Talk to Ken Husvar over at www.victorycustomgolf.com and he can fill you in on all the details you'd like. He's a super guy and extremely knowledgeable with this product, as well as some of the other component stuff out there (e.g. Bang, Alpha, Ashton, Nakashima, Versus, etc.). Best of luck ... Jeff

Hang in there it will arrive shortly,,, as mentioned by the other post,,, fairways too !

The II is oing to have a slightly different look as well. it will have the black coated face.

Problem is that FailSafe in other than 9 deg loft appears to be nonconforming. I have email in to USGA regarding this issue as I don't want to get caught playing with an illegal driver.

As of now, the 9, 10.5, and 12 are all conforming. That was straight from the Geek man himself.

Please, please tell me this is so! I got an email from Steve yesterday telling me the 10.5 FailSafe is not conforming. I don't want to give it up. It goes FAR. Who did you talk to?

I have a DCT that is now going to be firmly implanted in my bag. I just put a Creation in it and the thing is a rocket launcher. Feel and sound is a muted thwack, similar to the old TM 510TP's. Forgivness is decent, nothing spectacular. This is a low launch head but as for spin I think it'll react according to the shaft you put in it. I had a Speeder 661 at first and it seemed mid-spin, with the Creation it's definitely low spin, with a much more boring trajectory (but maybe the shaft just fits me better).

The best thing about it is that they will definitely find the head you're looking for as close to spec as possible. It's like tour service for you. I had a handpicked 10* head, .5 degrees open, 199 grams. Not to mention it's a great traditional looking head for a 460cc driver.

And the headcover kicks Word not allowed too!

Please, please tell me this is so! I got an email from Steve yesterday telling me the 10.5 FailSafe is not conforming. I don't want to give it up. It goes FAR. Who did you talk to?

This is a direct quote from Steve on GolfDiscussion.com

"12* is legal! Also, the 10.5 is technically legal until they say it isn't!"

That was posted yesterday, but maybe he learned something different since then.
