TA 653 Ts, Tourney EOM 60s, and Others

Did someone post a WTB a set of LH MacGregors/Wilsons in January?

Here are photos of LH MacGregor Persimmons from a few years.

The 1953 Tommy Armour LH 653 Ts have not left the shelf in 4 years. The MacGregor EOM 60s were just let out.....

These were refinished over 10 years ago- in Canada.

The catalog color of these 653s was- Coal Black

????.

The Bert Dargie blond was my first persimmon club. The MacGregor Custom "Bomber" Persimmon has a butterfly soleplate- rare in any LH models from MacGregor.

The MacGregor LH TA 653s were done like the RH TA 693s- --sweepback soleplates.

The others in the back row are the 2,3,4 of the sets, or nicely refinished persimmons.

The MacGregor LH 2W with the 5 screws and thick fiber insert was my gamer for a few years.




Have a few more LH2W Persimmons, as well as both LH and RH Cleveland Classic TC-15s....

Nice woods! Always weird looking at the left-handed clubs. Though I'm left-handed myself, I've always played with right-handed clubs. It would be interesting to try playing the other way. Thanks for sharing.

FYI-
Johnny Miller, Dale Douglass, and Curtis Strange are people who write left handed but play golf right handed.

Think there are any MacGregor Toney Penna WW Woods, or VIP irons around?
Toney did make a LH set of woods and irons for Ted Williams "The Splendid Splinter" which made the "Antique Roadshow" program.
Finally saw a LH MacGregor Ironmaster putter...

One question- Have you ever seen any LH MacGregor persimmon models with the Aluminum 5 screw (Domino) inserts?

There were some LH Ram persimmon woods with Aluminum 4 screw inserts, but no MacGs....

BTW-
There is a set of LH LH2W persimmons, 1,2,3,4 on Ebay from Persimmblade-

They have the Eye-O-Matic 60 soleplate, and are in excellent condition.
These include the original Tourney 2 shafts, and [i][u]leather grips[/u][/i].

They are a bargain at the price listed....
