Talked with guyd in two different shops today who told me that the Tour edge exotics are the hottest three wood on the market right now.

Anyone out there have any experience with these?

I usually prefer the Mizuno, Titleist, Sonartec products.

I had a 3 wood with NV reg. shaft. I'm not overly technical in my golf knowledge, but it felt head heavy to me. I find myself more comfortable with a compact head and the TEE is longer heel to toe than fws I've used previously. That said, I hit two of the longest shots from the fairway with this club. But it was the lack of confidence off the tee that made me sell it and get a SQ 3 wood, with $ left over.

 

No doubt TEE is a long stick. I wish I'd been more comfortable with it b/c it is a gorgeous club.

I've played the 3 wood with their stock reg flex shaft for a bit over a year now. For me, this is the best 3 wood I've ever hit let alone owned. My swing speed is in the low to mid 90's. Ball flight off the deck is very penetrating. Off the tee, it is easy to hit high or more penetrating, depending on the shot you want to hit.

 

I hit mr R7 driver in the 250 to 270 range. No joke: I have hit this 3 wood 260 numerous times off the tee. The ball explodes off the face. Having said all this, I thought I'd get a 7 wood fill out my set. I can't hit it worth a flip. I guess it's not a perfect world.

I've had the same exact results... I've had the 3 wood in stiff for most of the year, and it's the best 3 wood I've ever owned. VERY long. Easier to hit off the tee than off the deck. Probably will make an effort to swap the stiff for a regular in the same shaft, despite my clubhead speed in the 95mph range.

 

I tried a 7 wood with very bad results. I don't know why, except I think this 3 wood has a lower, hotter trajectory than most. That's not exactly what you want from a 7 wood.

 

If you want a hot 3 wood for use off the tee, the Tour Edge Exotics is the best I've ever seen.

Does the stock Fuji play to spec? If I prefer a firm flex, should I go with a reg or stiff? Thanks.

The TEE is very hot. I still have mine but, the Cally Fusion has kicked it out for now. I like the feel of the Fusion more and it's just as long.

I've had the 3 and 5 woods for about a year, and I absolutely love them. They're super versatile (e.g. great off the deck and tee), feel great, and are very looooooooooong. I did not like the stock Fuji shaft (played a little soft to me), so I re-shafted the 3 wood with an Accra T70 in M4 (stiff) flex and re-shafted the 5 wood with an Accra HF in M4 flex earlier this year and the results were awesome. These clubs aren't going anywhere for a very long time. I've hit just about every fairway wood on the marker (both OEM and component), and these stand above the rest. Best of luck in you search!!!

I am one of the guys that did not care for the T/E fairway club.

 

I cant say it was a bad club, just that it was not a good club for me, and i have so many that i like so much more.

TE Exotics 15 fairway wood is the best on the market, tryed everything and will acknowledge large head is harder off the deck (however no larger than R7 3wood) however the length, dispersion and sound outweigh this minor deficiency.
