Waw ... Take 2 well known luxury brands, combine the name and sell your products overpriced.

Bugatti + bvlgari (bulgari) = Bvlgatti???

I just hate how they include "scotty cameron" in the item title on ebay. So if I forget to include the term "-bvlgatti" in my search, I have to weed through over 300 items I don't want to.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to share. As a Scotty headcover collector, I was completely fed up with seeing all these Bvlgatti headcovers come up when I'm cruising the bay for some real scotties. Then after being simply annoyed, I became a little angry. It's not right to use the Cameron name when listing a completely unrelated product. Many people collect cameron headcovers, and their families may want to go out and get them one that they don't think they have. So they search ebay and these come up, and I'm sure to most peoples wives they look like a unique scotty that they're hubby doesnt have. So they unknowingly pull the trigger on a $150 headcover with no collectible qualities at all. So somebody in taiwan makes $140 worth of profit by using the scotty cameron brand to manipulate good intentioned buyers. So what I did was report every listing from bvlgatti_us under the grounds of manipulating searches by misusing a brand name... literally around 100 of them. So I check back a couple days later and to my surprise all of the listings have been removed and relisted without the cameron name on them. If their headcovers are so superior then they should be able to sell them without the smoke and mirrors. There are still some smaller sellers still using the cameron name in their listings, but I'm getting to those too... :rolleyes:

GolfLinks86, I wasn't aware of that rule on ebay. Great work! Maybe without being able to use the Scotty name, we can see the prices come down. They do look like very nice headcovers, and I would consider one at $40 or $50.

Thank you. It was quite annoying to see all those covers pop up under a Cameron search.
