Speeder 652

In the review section, I did not see anybody review the Speeder 652.

Can anyone give some feedback on this shaft? Driver? Fairway?

I love the 652. It is light. 65 grams around?...plays a little soft and is not as tip stiff as other shafts, but it is a higher launch and easier to hit that a 757. More like a fuji six in feel...

My ball speed is 165-170. And I tend to hook alot. The 652 can stand up to my hook swings half decent for a shaft with alot of kick. It did not balloon for me.

It is a good driver shaft...too light for me for a wood shaft...

I have the 652 shafted in a 10.5* 983K and it is a smooth shaft and provides a nice kick through the hitting zone; stands up to faster swings better than the YS-6 it replaced. The shaft provides me with a nice, mid/mid-high ballflight and won't penalize me when I want to really lean on it, or when I get quick. Good dispersion for fairly soft-tipped shaft as well.

I think it plays relatively close to flex; I am a smooth swinger and have had no issues with the stiff. Great shaft.

I know others that play it in a fairway wood with great success; however, I prefer heavier FW shafts.
