J. Gore's Shades?

Anyone know what kind of shades Gore was wearing snday. I love aviators... I don't know about playing golf in them but they looked great.

Not sure what kind they were, but they said he was wearing them because he has pink eye.

I noticed that he didn't wear them when he was swinging or putting. I am the same way, for some reason I lose my depth perception when i wear sunglasses. anyone else have this issue?

I for one can not golf without my shades, I get more headaches and my eyes may tear from the wind. I wear them on the way to the course and my eyes are adjusted before I get there. the only time I do not wear them is when it is raining for good reason.

For the first time this weekend I tried playing with my Oakley half-jacket XLJs on. Well, I tried them on the range. Until I got my bearings, I hit a bunch of shots pretty fat, and I honestly think it was a depth perception kind of thing. I had it figured out by the end of the range session, though, and it was certainly easier on my eyes. I'm thinking about getting some of the persimmon lenses (or other similar color) to sharpen things up on overcast days.

Speaking of the use of shades being easier on your eyes. ask your eye doctor if he thinks that spending many hours golfing in the sun without eye protection is a good thing. guess this thread can help people understand that we use sunscreen for our skin to prevent skin cancer yet many people have no shade other than their hat on their eyes. the way I see it you only have one set of eyes and the UV rays are going to speed up your risk of long term eye problems. just my two cents
