Has anyone played this course? I hear it is a Donald Ross course in immaculate condition...does anyone know anything about the club and membership? Thanks!

I could go on and on. Grandparents have been members there for 58 years. I love the course, great design, and good challenge when they let the rough grow out. Only downside is an irons only driving range, but that's it! Let me know if you have any questions. Tee to green wonderful golf course hands down!

A couple of guys in our group just bailed to go to Riverton. Said the deal was hard to say no to with no dues until April 2011.

Great Course in Great condition. Awesome greens. Tough when the rough is up. Not overly long but always fun. Played there 6-7 times this year. If I lived closer (I am 45 minutes away) I would join in a minute.

Some really good par 4's--- 3, 5, 10, 12, 15. Really good variety of par 3's.

really a sleeper amongst the Philly giants (Merion, Pine Valley, Huntingdon Valley etc.)

Living less than 5 miles from the clubhouse, it pains me to say I haven't played this course. If anyone knows of an way for a non-member to play the course, please let me know!

I've played this course numerous times. A few times in some big tournament qualifiers and on a few occassions with some of my buddies that are members.

It's a perfectly maintained golf course. Old school for sure. Only plays to a maximum of about 6,200 yds, lightening greens, thick rough.

It's a great golf course, great club house, solid staff. All around great place to play.

Oh, and the deal is too good to pass up right now....

If you're looking in the area, before making a decision. Take a quick drive over to Burlington Country Club in Mount Holly, NJ. Another great private golf course, great membership options/rates (more affordable than Riverton CC currently) and a MUCH longer/tougher layout.
