Pad the extended rod! However ,if you are rotating correctly with a 1/2 swing at 1/2 speed,you should not be hitting your side at all.You can easily change your rotation for the good in the next 6 months.By the way what country are you in?The reason why i ask is that the Golfwrx member Teeace teaches in Finland and uses a state of the art analysis system called 4d

I think russc is dead on. Noticeably better, but still quite a ways to go. Your flip through impact is still very evident. If I were a PGA professional giving highly qualified advice, (which I'm not) I would suggest experimenting with a slightly stronger grip so you don't feel the need to drive your hands and wrists so much in order to square the face.

Maybe some of the more qualified individuals could either confirm or refute my theory.

I just bought some foam the other day. The kind that´s supposed to go around small pipes.
Will try to pad a shaft a make a more permanent punisher rod.

1/2 wedges is fine without hitting my side, but I can´t resist trying a few harder ones - and then comes the smack.

I´m in Oslo, Norway. So, quite a trip to Finland. Never been there.
Besides, I´ve gone without instruction so far - really want to get under 4.5 hcp on my own.
Up to 4.5 is "tournament category" over here. Would be fun to get there, and then consider wich instructor is the best for me.

I don´t really trust a lot of the instructors around here.
Richard Green comes here to work with Darren Webster-Clarke just outside town, but he is out of my budget.

Once you pad the rod ,take some video with the punisher drill using only half swings.I bet the difference will be obvious.

Just one question:

What do I think to avoid pulling the ball left when I rotate harder? To me, opening up feels like starting the ball left.
My problem in the first place was pull/slice. The quick fix on the course was to slow and shorten things down, and just "chip" it with a club or two more than I´m used to - hence the lack of rotation.
Guess I just really have to stop the flipping action.

No need to make it radically stronger...just enough so you there's a noticeable difference in how the club feels. At first, you might start hooking the ball. The "Correction" for this is what everyone has already told you...rotate the hips hard through impact and delaying the release of your hands.
