240fps Over-the-top chicken wing

Analyze my swing

Hi all,

I'm looking for some help in identifying which faults are causing the over-the-top motion, the variable spine angle, and chicken wing finish seen in the video linked below. My typical ballflight is a baby fade with my short irons and an epic push slice with long irons and woods. Incidentally, I generally hit the ball pretty far; the 8-iron carries about 170. All analysis and suggestions welcome.

hands look like they're just working out towards the target line in the takeaway too much, and end up way high at the top of the backswing. from that position if you just turn....there's nothing your hands and the club can do but come over the top. you can recover from the current top-of-backswing position, like plenty of tour pros do (bubba and furyk come to mind) by dropping your hands basically straight down to start the transition....and the feeling may be like dropping your hands behind you, or basically creating a big loop.

but in a modern swing that's simpler and more core driven with the arms staying in front i think you'd be better off trying to work your hands more inside in the backswing (while keeping the clubhead outside and clubface pointing at the ball), so they're at a point at the top that's in line with your shoulder turn. feeling may be like your hands are brushing by your right pocket in the takeaway. then as you pivot and turn from the top the club should be getting delivered from a more inside position....thus getting rid of a slice/push slice.
