vs 910 D3 and R11 Ti 3 wood

Current Gamers:

910 D3 9.5 with Fubuki 73S
R11 Ti 15* with TP Diamana Kai'li 80S

RBZ Tour 9* with Stock Stiff
RBZ 15* with my TP Diamana Kai'li 80S

Driver

First off the RBZ is LOUD! Could definantly use some hotmelt to soften the sound and improve the feel a little bit.

Distance: Comes off the face really "hot" and along with the sound, it definantly gives you the feeling that you are bombing it. In all truth though after seeing it outside and on the monitor, there was no distance gain over my 910.

Feel and Workability: Like i said, the sound it loud. It's for sure a downgrade compared to my hotmelted D3. My standard shot is pretty straight but my go to shot when is a soft cut. Didnt get that solid boring cut with the RBZ when I wanted it. Always ended up with too much fade and overall just didn't feel comfortable working it either way.

Accuracy: No real change here for me. I am a power player so I usually only hit 50% of my fairways in a round as it is.

Overall: Sticking with the 910. Not saying that RBZ is a bad club at all. The feel would be a dealbreaker for me and if its not giving me any added yardage, there is no reason to change.

3 Wood

I was really curious to see how this session went because I just switched from the 910F to the R11 Ti and pretty much fell in love with it but I lost a little bit of distance.

Distance: Long was long. Avg 3 wood for me is 250-255. Hit 25 balls with the RBZ and maxed one out at 275 which was pretty nuts. Average after 25 balls was 258. So a 3-8 yard gain.

Feel and workability. Feels good.

Accuracy: Hit it all over the place. I think I started to get worn down towards the end of the session (I'm 23 years old so I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say that haha.)

Overall: It is longer. When I put a good swing on it and hit it flush, it went farther. No thanks though. If i want to hit it long and spray it all over the yard, I hit driver. When I need to hit a fairway, I'm okay with losing a few yards to make sure it's going where I need it to go. Sticking with the r11.

thanks for the excellent review; i just picked up a R11 Ti and am looking forward to testing against my trusty ole 07 burner; and no, at your age, you are not allowed to get tired; don't you know that the oldtimers would run 5 miles to the golf course with their golf clubs strapped on their back, then double bag 36 holes caddy work, then play till dark and run home? :tongue:

Thank you for what i feel is an accurate review of the RBZ fairway. I had the same results. hit 10 balls with RBZ 10 balls with fast 12 and 10 balls with fast 12XTD.

I will admit when i flushed the RBZ it was crazy long but all over the place 2 out of 10 balls in the fairway. (at least with my driver i'm 8 out of 10 in the fairway)

The shaft in the fast 12XTD doesn't fit my swing couldn't see myself dropping the extra $100.00 over the steelheaded fast 12.

I did buy the regular fast 12, average was 12 to 15 yards longer over my G15, hit 9 out of 10 in fairway (went after one and big pull that one was the Indian not the arrow)

I haven't hit the driver yet to compare not real sure I'm going to this year my driver and myself are getting along real good right now don't want to spoil that.
