Nice sticks. I love a putter with lots of lead tape.
[/quote]

Hey thanks bro. Yeah lead tape and I have had a relationship for a long time. Got a method midnight with some nice lead tape action on it also.

Got this Method Midnight a couple weeks ago and threw a Midnight Series SS Mid Slim on. 36 inches and somewhere around F4 I believe. I had the Circa 3 extended out to 37 a year ago and added way more lead tape but it only weighs to approx E5, counterbalanced so to say by the 125 gram Iomic Jumbo Absolute grip.

Got this setup to try for a bit. DHY is just not a good fit for me off the fairway.
So far this X2 is great off the tee and is high off the turf. Can go both ways and has the same shaft and length as my i20 20.

I really like the look of all the Callaway X2 Hot clubs, particularly the pros.

Little update on my game: I am a terrible golfer. My swing, short game and putting is well below where it was a year ago and even farther than it was a few years ago. Coming back after the surgery has been a struggle but I am tryin to find the solution in the dirt.

A few weeks ago I had my first real round back and shot 85 with 3 birdies and several more real shots at birdie. I felt pretty good about my game then because I was driving it accurately and had some great distance overall. Since then I have really had a tough time hitting the center of the face and my distance control has been pretty mediocre.

I started a more serious fitness schedule and am working with a guy from Fitness by Fronk in Jax, Jeff Fronk trains Furyk, Horschell, Cauley and Blixt (pretty good little video on his routine on PGA TOUR's YouTube channel last week). So far I am stronger in my legs and a bit stronger in my core but less flexible overall. Kill it with balance based stuff but my right leg is made for rugby and left is for ice dancing. Gotta even them out.

Am looking for pro help in Jax for my game but am pretty picky about philosophy. Most of the guys I have talked to want me to swing like Johnny Miller in the 70's.

Club wise I am playing the 9.5 G25 B60 to keep hitting fairways but hae been playing around with the covert tour, SLDR, and different bio cell setups. Best numbers I have gotten have been with the Bio Cell Plus with the stock Red Tie. May try the pro if I can get my hands on it.

Irons are getting old for me and I have been waiting to get some S55s but I have looked and hit the 2014 pro combos, MCs, and the 714 AP2/CB/MB. I Imagine that there will be some Mizuno irons to replace the 59s soon so maybe that will be in play.

Anyways comments, questions and insults are always welcome.

Go Noles

Got these in today and took em right to the range. Outstanding feel and a strong contender to oust the I20s. A lot more work to try to find the strengths and weaknesses. Would have to add a 4 iron though.

I tried to zoom in and get the stepping pattern of the 130s. It's a PW at the top and goes thru 5 iron.

Got my 915s in today. Can't wait to go hit them. These were fit at Sea Island Titleist Regional Center, best fitting I've ever had.

I picked mine up too earlier, have you hit them yet? I had a range session and they (D3, F and H) are all stunning. I have been through extensive fittings previously but the D3 is clearly going to be longer and is very forgiving. Playing a round tomorrow and can't wait!

I haven't hit them, they just came in this afternoon. I actually did something to my back yesterday morning so tomorrow is out, probably till Monday.

I have hit these exact setups when I got fit and really was happy. The driver was longer than my G25 without the fade bias and the 3 wood was really accurate. Only thing I didn't do was hit the 3 woods off real grass vs the fake turf.

I really like the 54s but I think they could do somethings better, particularly in the short irons. They really offer nothing that a typical blade short iron doesn't. Maybe adding a bit of height, but not many people want that in a short iron. The mid and long irons play a lot like the Nike Pro Combo long and mid irons. Surprising amount of forgiveness in the profile of a players club. MP 54 can be a bit high spin on a launch monitor but I haven't really seen a massive loss from other irons in the same category.
I really like the turf interaction of the 54s also, they seem to cut through very nicely and I don't really have any surprises.
Feel is outstanding, very typical Mizzy feel, soft yet solid. This was my main selling point for me to try these out. Great feel and little bit of forgiveness.

Now all that said, I feel like there is a better iron out there for me. I'll look at the JPX Forged soon but am worried about the lofts on those. Maybe just go to the Pro Combos.

I did have such an excellent experience at a fitting recently for the woods that I may go back for irons. It was worth the $ for the 915s, so probably for the irons too.

Thanks man. Seems like there are some mixed reviews on the 54's. I love the minimal offset when compared to some of their other forged offerings, and the PW doesn't look too bad. I actually like the straighter edge than the 64's, which have a bit more rounded edge (to my eye at least).

I have a Mizuno demo day set up soon, so we'll see! I don't foresee the 15's beating them out.

Are you a digger, sweeper or neutral? I would consider myself a neutral/digger, and the 68's work well for me. Wonder how the 54's will do. I've never really felt like the 68's dug too much.

Does anyone know where I bought my MP 54s from? I can't find jack on eBay or the messenger. For sale BTW 4-PW. have to get them swing weighted cause half the irons have lead tape and half don't.
