I bought a 910 D3 8.5 Fuji Speeder 7.2X, two days ago and got an offer for it at the range this morning. I didn't get any pics unfortunately. I had my recently acquired I20 (some pics below) and hadn't even hit the 910 when a guy next to me started asking about my sticks. I eventually got to the drivers and really couldn't see anything beating the I20/Speeder combo. I was hitting the 910 at 7.75 and still skying the ball. I wasn't a big fan and kinda half-heartedly said I would be selling the 910. Guy asked if he could hit it, did and actually hit it really well. Offered me a really good price and boom.

Anyways, the I20 with TS is pretty sick. The shaft feels really solid and not boardy at all, I hit it with a nice L/M trajectory, just what I was looking for. Alot like my 8.5 Kai'li but carries farther. I was able to work it both ways, but a definite bias for a fade.

Nome is legit

I was very surprised today by the feel of the nome. It felt very solid like a mallet should but no harsh feeling.

Not as soft as a Cameron or insert but the feel combined with the alignment design has me loving it, especially on short putts

Anser ahina 70X on the way. Going to see how it plays and probably swap my 6.2 TS into the Anser, ahina 70 into the G20 and Kuro Kage 70 into the I20 for sale.

So what's the answer to the Anser? Swap the shafts.

On the course the Anser is a bullet but I feel like I'm swinging a feather. The Speeder shaft feels better, more solid. The ahina is great on spin but I can't handle hitting it left.

Based on those numbers I would take the i20.. Even though it's the less cool thing to do.

No spin #s. I was at a store that had a separate computer for the spin, club path, smash etc.

I thought the I20 llaunch was good but the ball just dies sometimes on a really good swing. I basically like the feel of the I20 setup and the stats of the Anser, save the left misses.

nice swing! is that the UNF range? btw lovin' the Nome..making a lot of putts. shot 78 @ Cimarrone from the members tee. Couldn't hit my irons that day...think I hit like 2 greens all day. But the Nome saved my behind.

Glad to hear about the nome, it is a really solid putter, especially for alignment. Surprisingly good feel. How was the conditions of Cimarrone?

nice. surprised I haven't seen you out there yet..I'm there a good amount. I really like their practice facility as well..especially the short game area. And I agree, their grass area can become a sand lot.

Cimarrone was in decent shape just wet from all that rain we got. But fairways were really green and plush but rough was THICK. Greens were pretty rough and bumpy though..seems like they just aerated it and then got hit by all those storms that we got. It's a pretty good course..short but pretty narrow.

I20 Speeder is still here and in the bag. I have been tinkering with lead tape on the anser to get the feel right but have been way off the line with it.

Those swings are about as bad as I can post but I started a thread to get some tips. I am blind to my mistakes sometimes. Someone posted about my right foot in these swings and how the weight is over my foot. I have been so concerned about firing my left side I was guess I dropped down.

Today I was focusing on clearing my hips before impact and I think it had a solid result on the shots I was hitting. A number of slices came out, but more work is still left.

Diamanas have never felt boardy to me, they have a rep for having a smooth bend profile. I have played several Diamanas and usually tip Whiteboard/Ahinas 1/2 to 1 inch. The best feeling shaft I have owned recently was the Kaili tipped 1 inch. I don't think they would be known for running stiffer than labeled compared to other brands, but keep in mind this is the stock offering from Ping. I have no doubt that it is the real deal but often when a shaft is a stock offering in a club it can play slightly softer.

SS is on average 119-121.

I sent back my Anser to Ping cause there was a dime size spot on the crown, around the toe, that was darker than the rest of the club. It was ridiculously hard to see inside but out on the course it became distracting. I sent it back to Ping, got there today at about 11AM their time and I got a call from them 45 minutes later. The same rep I had spoken with before said they were going to replace the head, no cost, and asked me if there was anything else I wanted done. Awesome, absolutely awesome. I had put some lead tape on the stock offering I got to get the weight to D4 and had wondered about getting the club shortened a bit. I asked them to cut 1/2 inch off down to 44.75 and weight it at D5. No problem, it will be back here in about 10 days maybe sooner.

I am extremely impressed and I will write a kudos to them once I get the club back.
